Kids generally do not have the means to pay for such things unless their parents let them use their credit/debit card. So that's a parenting issue. And adults should be free to make their own decisions even if there may be negative consequences. It's called freedom. This whole real money RNG package thing is nothing new. It's been around for a long time in many other games. It could only really be considered gambling when you're focused on getting a certain item from it. Otherwise you're just paying for a random assortment of virtual goods in exchange for your money.

  • Stop rationalizing crap. Its still the marketing tactics and actions, not the other crap. Excuses for terrible things will allow it to keep going

I never said it was morally right. Bungie and other developers that do the same are clearly taking advantage of those prone to addiction. I mean, this whole game is a gambling simulator meant to keep you gambling your time for the possibility of looting that coveted item you're after. But ultimately the responsibility lays in the hands of the consumer. It's your choice to keep playing this game. It's your choice to buy into these packages. It's your choice to quit and go get rehab if you have a problem. Decisions should not be made for you.
