3 RespuestasUntil Sony actually confirms it, it isn't confirmed
-
3 RespuestasDon't see how it's that big of a deal. There were lots of version of the 360, Arcade, Elite, Slim etc.etc.
-
Sony should be focusing on quality games, NOT quality video-output at this time.
-
Unless you are buying a PSVR, there is no need to upgrade. And even then it isn't necessary.
-
33 RespuestasOnly for movies and videos no game will run 4k 30fps on a console
-
2 RespuestasPretty sure that's 4k video only, not games.
-
games still won't be hitting 60 fps so it's just a waste of money
-
3 RespuestasIf this is true, then I don't see a problem. It's existence doesn't make the PS4 you have now any worse than if the upgrade didn't exist. If you have a PS4 Reasons to upgrade: 1. you notice frame rate issues in games you play and are not ok with it. 2. you use a 4k TV and would like 4k upscaling. Reasons to not upgrade: 1. There is nothing wrong with your PS4 and you enjoy the purchase you made. 2. you're fine living in a world where this upgrade doesn't exist. If you don't have a PS4 1. The original PS4 price will drop = more sales and more people to play with.

6 Respuestas
Goddamnit Sony, I'm not paying you again.
Ok, then don't. I'm so confused by this attitude. Nobody is making you buy it, and your experience on the original PS4 will be unaffected whether it comes out, or not.
-
I'm not upset about it at all. It's just a mid console term upgrade which I'm fine with. What would be really awesome if Sony sold NEO kits and current ps4 owners could install them and update the operating system. Highly unlikely but all current ps4 owners would be grateful.

5 RespuestasEditado por Iso Blood: 4/20/2016 7:26:25 PMIt isn't the ps4k... With the specs released the game will not be able to run 4K well at all. My sli 980ti's do a fine job, but that's $3,000 PC. With those specs, you shouldn't expect that large of a jump. ~TheGreatWhiteVan

4 RespuestasI feel bad for the devs.
-
1 RespuestaCan someone with knowledge give me an idea of the specs compared to a high end pc? Will this be a huge upgrade
-
6 RespuestasThe ps4 is still new and run games fine, and last thing we need is to spend $500 every 3 years
-
The PS4 I have works just fine, no thanks.
-
23 RespuestasIf it has Backwards compatibility then I will buy it without hesitation. Get a 2tb hdd with and buy MW2 and never play another game again.
-
1 RespuestaIf consoles are going to start offering improved hardware mid-generation, why are we even bothering buying a console? Might as well just move to PC, because the difference just isn't there anymore. How does Sony even force third party developers to actually use the improved hardware if it means optimizing their games for standard PS4's and those with this "NEO."
-
I can't see the point of this.
-
3 RespuestasIsn't this what Nintendo did with their DS? Personally I don't like it and think it shouldn't happen but what do I know, if it's worked before it can work again.
-
23 RespuestasLol, people believe a ps4 can run 4k games still?
If it were possible, have fun spending $1000 for a PlayStation.
-
10 RespuestasI wonder whether Sony came up with this before Microsoft, or Sony reacted to Microsoft's talk about doing this? Personally, I think it's a horrible idea to release more powerful versions of the same hardware mid-generation. First, you annoy anyone who bought the original one. Second, you hamstring the new one so that owners of the old one can still play the games released for it, meaning that your hardware upgrade is essentially pointless. I think that Microsoft's idea of a console subscription (whereby the cost of Xbox Live goes up, but you basically get a new console every two years) is a lot more interesting.

Good thing I waited to get a PS4, I guess.

Editado por ALIAS-F4LS: 4/19/2016 5:25:45 PMWith the specs I really doubt it to be 4K gaming capable frame rates should be more stable since I know the both consoles have stuttering frame rates here and there.
-
Is rather get a PC
-
Editado por Malygos: 4/19/2016 4:46:33 PMLol those specs wont even come close to native 4k 30fps so its going to be video only. Secondly ive yet to hear anyone saying oh its 4k say how they're going to cool the console since you know water cooling isn't exactly feasible. $399 price point sends it home tho 980's are entry into decent 4k and cost more than the whole console lol http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?N=100007709%20600536050&IsNodeId=1&Submit=ENE

The only time I'm buying it is when my current PS4 breaks.
