Overwatch proves that Blizzard is still the best developer
They could have released this game months ago. The core and networking has been done for months now but what they are doing is using a long closed beta to balance before general release rather than what most companies do and just dump and incomplete poorly balanced buggy game on its customers.
Overwatch is amazing BtW. All the Heros feel balanced and unique.

Since mp is all this game is, balance should have been done along time ago. C'mon it's mp, you design maps And characters, and BALANCE combat. Easy peasy.

Doesn't look bad but I think I'm getting Battleborn instead. I just like the gearbox sense of humor.

Agreed. Blizzard makes some of the most polished games out there. Their alphas, are like other devs betas, and their betas can be a release product. And they make fun, accessible, but extremely deep and engaging games.

3 RespuestasYea blizzard is really good. I mean even when they screw up a game, they are one of the few developers to actually fix it and make it good. Im looking at you d3... Keep in mind the polish guys that did witcher. They put so much love in the game and release a ton of free additional content. Another developer who really cared about the game was the one who did unravel. The way he introduced his game was heart-melting. Cant remember which conference it was but he was so nervous while talking infront of the audience. Nowadays i feel like most of the big publishers / developers dont really care anymore. Thats why indie-developers are so popular right now. They have fresh ideas and they put love into their games

Blizzard is proving the value of being NIMBLE. (The rest is just Blizzard being Blizzard....it always takes them forever to release a game). Overwatch started out as another game entirely....and Blizzard just couldnt' get that idea to work. But instead of forcing the issue, Blizzard let the project tell THEM what IT wanted to be....and it looks like the new game is going to be a huge success. Both in terms of money and player satisfaction. Again----Bungie could learn a lot from Blizzard.
