3 of Coins Famring
the method I've been using is the "pop one at the start of a mission every other strike/crucible match"
but lately that hasnt worked. last week i had 30 coins and got two engrams. idk if something happened to the coins in a patch and i didnt read about it, but if anyone has a currently viable method of farming the exotic coins, I'd appreciate hearing it.

I pop one every strike or bosses that i know work with 3oC. Been working alright for me.

I have not had any problem yet. Every weekend I buy 100 3oC. Currently , I have about 900 strange coins, so this weekend I will buy 200 3oC. Strikes take too long to farm exotics. I mainly play Crucible for exotics. Before a match begins I use one 3oC. When running patrol I wait until the Taken boss appears and then use 3oC.

Before the update I accumulated about 170+ 3oC. So I farmed for a month. I now have about 48 3oC left. The total exotics I've collected is 56. Every strike I did I used the 3oC. Not on Flayers/Omni. I'm not sure if this answers much for you, I just wanted to give you an idea on a random player like me on how I use my 3oC. I don't believe in using more than 1 per strike (I remember reading someone stacking 6 or so per run... I don't think that's a good idea honestly, lol). I always use 1 when the strike starts or while in orbit before it starts. Another thing I want to add is rarely this happens, it only happened twice for me where I received 2 exotics as a drop. One in SRL a while back and one during a Crucible match. But yeah.. I don't think there is a method. Just use one per strike and hope for a drop if not that drop maybe next run. lol

I usually pop one before every other match in Trials. I can get 20 in a weekend. Will have to see what it is like this weekend with the update now.

Run Challenge Mode 42 now while you can with no Modifiers. Its pretty easy and you hit 3 bosses super fast.

Had 6 drops from 20 coins yesterday. Tried again today, had 2 for 50 coins. RNGs a bitch.

I used a three of coins in the 42 PoE on the first boss, didn't get anything, popped another for the second and an it dropped. I always see people waiting 15 minutes and I don't think it matters.

5 RespuestasScourge of winter strike ... go to boss room pop 3 of coins , get boss low and rocket him and yourself ... you will respawn right at him and your exotic if it drops will roll over... I set a five minute timer and then repeat. ... allows me to study and get 3-5 exotics an hour
