So I swore at a 6 year old today
I had my kids at an indoor play place and there's a section for babies where everything is padded and my son is 2 years old.
There was a group of 6 year olds in a play house and they weren't letting my son in the house. I asked with a smile "is everyone playing nice" and they said my son "was the big bad wolf". I said "he doesn't understand that game and just wants to go in the house".
The kid said "no, he's the big bad.." And I cut him off and said "if my son wants to play in the house then open the -blam!-ing door..." I realized what I had just said and I hung my head and walked away.
I went and sat with my wife and her friend and told her we might have to leave cuz I just swore at some little shit. She just laughed and said "daddy fail" lol
Edit 1: it's not that I swore at him and now he knows that word. It's that I didn't want the little shit to go find his mom or dad and come find me. I ended up walking past the kid again and my brother said I should "throat slash" gestured to him. Lol didn't though.
Edit 2: this is for the expected salt lol. Really didn't mean to swear at the kid. I wasn't yelling or getting aggressive. The talk was calm and flowing and I'm one to have every 5th word a swear and "fûck" just came out. Immediately I thought "yep I just fûcking did that".

Lol I somehow know that feeling. I don't have kids or even around them but I've said stuff I knew I shouldn't have the moment it left my mouth. I honestly feel it's getting worse at my job, maybe age, maybe just been there too long.
