Mida in PvE lolwut? There are so many better scouts for PvE. Pick anything with explosive rounds and go nuts. Mida has been around for ages and wasn't used in PvE until it became fashionable in TTK. there are plenty of options in PvE, please stop this meme. By the way, i'm a fan of the gun, but it really isn't for PvE.

  • False. MIDA was great for speed runs, and getting into hard to reach places. Sorry you spent the entirety of Y1 being mediocre.

  • MIDA was a top tier pve gun. The intrinsic hcr flinched literally everything, it caused every major to flinch in 3 or less bullets, it stopped all taken enemies from activating their abilities (shield, cloning, firespitting, and blinding) and it gives you a noticeable movement boost which is great for traversing the dreadnought. MIDA was one of the most underrated pve guys because of its lower impact but it made up for that with utility

  • Eh, lots of folks tell me that MIDA isn't good for PvE. I generally use it anyway because it's a weapon that works well in my hands. If I'm getting kills and contributing to the team, why would my fireteam complain? MIDA has been equipped in my primary slot nearly 100% of the time outside the King's Fall Raid. I've loved the weapon since I got it from Atheon in early Year 1, and I've always had it equipped as long as I wasn't using Gjally or an elemental primary for a Nightfall. I loved it when it was "ugly" and "not Exotic enough". Sure, there are other weapons that do incredibly well in PvE, but that doesn't mean MIDA is outright *bad*.

  • The MIDA is typically my go-to weapon for all things combat in Destiny, PvE AND PvP. I love the feel and the sound, and how it looks, and I've used it to counter a lot of PvP snipers and PvE mobs that attack from a distance when I didn't have a sniper available for whatever reason. Even IF the nerf is as bad as people think it's going to be (I'm still stuck on campus and haven't had a chance to try anything out yet) there's a very high chance I'll still be using it. However, I will admit that Queen's Wrath weapons will be making up the bulk of my loadout if I can find the right perks.

  • Me too! I think you and I are in a similar boat there. ;) And if it's any consolation, I tested MIDA out in the Dreadnaught last night. Summoned the Cabal scouting team at the Breach. That Colossus went down no problem, and the majors were like soft butter to a warm knife. I think MIDA will be just fine. (I was admittedly pretty worked up about it, and I now humbly admit that I was wrong.)

  • Wrong I used it most of yr1 when I didn't need Gally. Then again most of yr2 once it was available.

  • Well, that's going to be the case for some people, but it really wasn't the widespread PvE darling until recently. most tough enemies don't take stagger, and the weaker ones are easily headshotted anyways, so the removal of high caliber rounds will have next to no effect on how the gun handles in PvE.

  • The Mida staggered all enemies, with the exception of ultras. You obviously have never used it or you are just mentally challenged.
