I feel like they put no effort into the design. One of my favorite cloaks, the year one trials cloak had basically the perfect pattern, design and color to me, then they took that beautiful piece of art then made it all yellow with a gold design? Like who decided that it would look better if they turned the cloak yellow with a gold design? There's maybe three or four shaders that look somewhat decent with it. Not to mention the raid class items...how do they go from the VoG cloak to some ripped up silk with a couple of bones on it? Granted I do like the teeth around the inside of the hood, but that's it. The mark is the same thing essentially, except not as ripped up, the bond is okay I guess. The faction exotics are a different story, but there's so much effort involved for them which only new monarchy stands out to me.
