Do you get better at crucible?
So do you think you get better at crucible? Or do you stay at about the same. Obviously rank/elo/kda can increase, but does that really make you better?
I was grinding hard for trials this weekend, and kept getting shrekt. I'm average in the crucible, but I want to become better. But even though I've been playing this game since the beta, I feel like I haven't risen in the crucible the way I'd like to.
What do you do to improve? Are there any specific game types?

Pretty much the same depending on how much and what modes I play.

We all definitely get better. First thing to get down is the maps. Knowing how to navigate the maps, where sniper lanes and high traffic areas are, etc. Next is getting a feel for your subclasses and knowing their strengths and weaknesses. Also things like knowing how much damage you can take before needing to retreat. Take the weapons you like using and learn their most effective ranges. Just keep playing and trying new things. Adapting is how we get better. The only way you won't get better is if you just try the same thing over and over even when it isn't working.

I am getting really good . Though i think it's late for me to fix my kd since there is a 600 gap so iam counting on my new hunter to have a good kd with.

Destiny is my first fps game and first game for ps4, Pvp i didnt know the maps and just kept on getting killed and could only get 1 kill in early days but now im ok just inconsistent

There are a lot of YouTube videos where people give good tips for a foundation. Most of them say the same thing. Check them out and test the theories in crucible. Should help you improve, at least a little. Cheers

I was pretty bad when I started. Had around .7 kd or worse lol did start pvp until after HOuse of wolves

3 RespuestasI was pretty good. My kd was close to 1.7. Then I went to a smaller monitor and changed my sensitivity from 8 to 5 and also have been trying to play more agressive ly and now I'm 1.3ish. Im too afraid to look So you can get worse. I'm living proof.

God Ya. My kd is still low but it'll take time. My games average between a 1 and 4 kd now though.

Playing with people better than you tends to slowly but noticeably help you get better. You tend to copy their skills, tactics, making me pretty good in crucible of I'm going silent mode

No. I'm pretty bad at crucible, always will be. I would recommend Rumble if you want to improve though.

I improved slightly. This game to me was another halo with more mobility and ads.

12 RespuestasI use to suck but then I experimented with different weapon types and found the area I'm better at. I've picked up my game quite a bit since launch. [spoiler]to those who look at my k/d and say "git gud" I did so I just want to say get logical[/spoiler]

I feel the same my shotgun skills have gotten better while I was mentally preparing for the chaperone but I cant use the last word to save my life. And I'm too impatient to snipe shotgunners aren't as common as they using fusions is out. And with the incoming last word nerf it's going to become even more difficult to do it so now im just waiting on Srl's return and rambling on the forums ._.

3 RespuestasI have been trying really hard lately to play as sniper, but I think you need a bit of natural talent (that I don't have) as all I end up doing is getting one or 2 snipes and the rest of my kills are DoP or smoke/vortex combo!

Yes, up to a point where you stop repeating some of your most common mistakes and get a better feel for the maps and choke points.

I think your thumb skills only get so good, they definitely can improve, but most improvement comes from the smarts. I think you can improve.

Um I did get better then the Sniper Meta showed up.

Took awhile to get familiar with Trials as i didn't play in Y1. My KD dropped from 1.6 to 1.5. As I'm no good with sniping and get sniped alot, I'm finding it more difficult to increase my KD to what it was.

I think I slipped up a bit which brought me down to 1.23 but I'm a solid 1.3 kinda guy
