I just completed taken king and am looking forward to my sword. The only issue is I don't have the patience to get hadium one flake every 5 mins. I'm just wondering if there is a more efficient way. Please don't be a dick.

4 RespuestasRun a route in The Mausoleum (most frequented to drop chests), then once you get that first sword you can just buy the rest of them from Shaxx, in the tower, and activate the exotic sword quests that way. Hope this helps!

If you have a hunter, put on the keen scout perk on your nightstalker and run aroun the are you spawn in on patrol mode, keen scout will mark chests on your mini map, making them easier to find. Then it's just a matter of figuring out the spawns, I can farm about 30 flakes in 20 or so minutes.
-
I have a farm route I use in the hull breach (the place you spawn on the dreadnaught) that works pretty well for me. Its a pretty common route so I'm sure if you google it, lots of results should come up. Just search around the internet, there are alot of innovative ways to farm things(: Hopefully this helps!

Ranking up eris seems to give me a good 12 each time it happens, doesnt happen often but its something

Keen scout perk on the nightstalker displays materials and chests on the radar. I would highly suggest doing everything for you swords on a nightstalker.

Editado por Huntress: 4/12/2016 9:55:31 AMIf you have a Nightstalker or have a friend how has, put on keen scout. It'll show where chests on the radar and then just run around the Dreadnaught, it'll take about 20 mins to get enough for the sword :)
-
I just reload the area where I find a box rinse repeat
-
If you think that's bad wait until you go for your exotic sword and have to grind the 10 materials you need even worse if you do all 3
-
Sorry, it's a pain in the ass through and through

3 RespuestasFind yourself a Nightstalker or a weapon with Relentless Tracker and run around the map until chest appear on your radar.
-
Switch to Nightstalker on your Hunter and choose the increased radar resolution perk. Then tour the Dreadnaught, it'll highlight the chests on your tracker.
-
The way I did it was going to the Mausoleum, go around in a circle collecting chests. By the time you make a full circuit hugging the wall the chests should respawn It just doesn't work when other people are taking chests too as that ruins the respawn timer for you
-
Rank up Crota's Bane reputation for a package. Loot any of the special chests in the Dreadnaught that require keys.
-
Grind COO for Crota woman rank. If you finish t3 25 times she will give you some flakes maybe. I usually get about 10-20 flakes from her.
-
3 RespuestasIf you don't have patience, you probably shouldn't be playing this game. Just run laps around hull breach. If you don't already know where the chests appear at, look it up. From the sound of it, you obviously never played during year one. Farming materials was a huge part of the game. Also, if you don't have patience for this part, you are really gonna hate the later steps of this quest.

6 RespuestasUse your Hunter Nightstalker with the Tracker perk enabled. This will show you where all the materials and chests are in proximity of you. Do a run around the Hull breach and the Mausoleum then go to orbit and go back and do the run again. You should get 50 flakes within an hour.
-
Mausoleum has a bunch of spawn points for chests. Learn the pattern, get 1 flake every 20-30 seconds, maybe faster.
-
Hahaha wait for that exotic sword...

3 RespuestasThe entrance room to the dread naught has like 6 spawn locations. Grab some boynties and just run the room in a circle. Helpa if you are using a hunter with keen scout
