The Sparrow Racing League mystery
I'm genuinely baffled why we haven't seen SRL again. It's a complete mystery to me why Bungiw would build it and then effectively shelve it.
I know a lot of people thought it was lame but I also know people who thought it was fun and gave players something different to do.
Why do you all think it vanished?

I agree. I enjoyed it. Didn't they sell a record book for like $10 or something like that? Crazy to think they haven't brought srl back.

Hope they do bring it back! Came back to Destiny the day after it finished and after 10 hours regular grinding a spot of F-Zero would go doen a treat!

I think it vanished because they're focusing on the April update and because it takes a long time to make a game.

I liked it as well, but it's not a mystery to me why we have not seen it return. It will have to return with new maps / tracks. With the communitg asking for a more substantial update after the last SRL and with destiny 2 in development, I doubt that SRL is exactly a priority atm. I'm sure it's roughly pencilled in this famous destiny 'road map' at some stage. I'd assume it'll make a return before Destiny 2, but you never know. They could have further updates DLC planned, but the bungie management / Activision seem to be pretty tight on information, so we will never know.
