The first curse is an exotic hand cannon you get by reaching gunsmith rank 5 if I'm not mistaken, the quest for it is very time gated and frustrating if you're not accurate, but nevertheless, it's doable. Once I got the gun, I could instantly see potential in it, it's pretty much an archetype weapon opposite of the last word. The weapon will requires 2 shot to the head and one shot to the body to kill someone and with its low rate of fire, can be outgunned by pretty much anything. Getting the 2 shot headshot in my opinion should kill guardians and landing that last shot could be the the deciding moment between you or your opponent emerging victorious, usually your opponent emerging victorious because of the time it takes to land that last shot. So please could you guys at bungie buff the first curse so that it is a 2 shot headshot please. The gun has so much potential in the right hands and I would even go as far as to say that it could rival mida if it were to be buffed to a 2 shot headshot weapon. Thanks

First curse can two shot low armor guardians. It doesn't need a buff. If you've never used guns like timurs lash or ill will in year one then you should be used to these heavy hitting weapons.

This would break the weapon.

10 RespuestasEditado por M3schk360: 4/11/2016 1:38:49 PMSee that's where this post is wrong. First curse is amazing. First, it requires 1 headshot and 2 body or 2 headshot on low armored targets. So it is very balanced Second, this is the best thing in PvP besides Mida in my opinion. It destroys. I use it religiously in PvP and trials and I destroy with it. Third, I refuse to let a gun be buff, then be used by everyone, then get nerfed into the ground

No, I need more guns like the first curse, the more people who doesn't know how to use the beast, the better. I don't want there to be a thorn or a last word epidemic.

36 RespuestasEditado por magburner: 4/10/2016 11:05:49 AMNO. I use this weapon extensively in PvP, and it should remain as a three headset hand cannon. If you are struggling with the third bullet, then you have to revisit your own technique, because it is that which is in error, and not First Curse. First Curse gunplay is more refined, more subtle, laid back, almost relaxed in nature. There should never be any urgency in your gamplay, else you will struggle to become effective with this archetype. When you master this unbelievable weapon, action on the battlefield will slow down considerably, instead of seeing the threat, you will only see the opportunity. Last of all, making First Curse a two headshot hand cannon would cheapen any 'Dead Man's Hand' medals that the game rewards you. There is nothing more satisfying, than rattling off two, three, or even four DMH's in a match. These medals also act as an indicator of your growing prowess with this archetype, as you improve your skills, you will generate more of them. Stick in there Guardian, the penny will drop, if you learn from every encounter.

8 RespuestasEditado por Mikey: 4/10/2016 6:29:23 AMI remember using the First Curse in the iron banner against a low armor hunter. It only took two headshots to take him out. This poor guy never stood a chance no matter how hard he tried. If everyone was getting two shot kills with this gun, it would get nerfed into the ground. The first curse perk should give you a brief increase to fire rate and stability after a critical hit. That way they could tweak the fire rate bonus in such a way to put its TTK in line with other hand cannons, but only if you land the critical hits. With that simple change it would be more competitive in PvP.

I love the gun. just like to mention, if a guardian has low armor it does actually two head shot them down.
-
That gun is such shit. Unfortunate.
-
Wish I could complete the quest with that crappy hand cannon. Slowest gun I ever shot in my life it'll take a damn miracle.
-
It show be a two shot once the guns exotic perk as been activated to make Sure it's not too OP
-
First curse should have holding aces and fire fly. That's fair. XD

2 RespuestasThorn and TLW were nerfed because they were 2 shot guns. What they need to do is just bring hand cannons back to the way the were in HoW. As it stands now hand cannons (except Hawkmoon) are high risk no reward.

1 RespuestaTwo head shots with the perk on, given that the perk only becomes active with a head shot kill. I would like that. Given it low rof it would make the gun more competitive and give the fact that low rof pulses are back to being two headshot kills all the time...
-
7 Respuestas2 headshot kill with 90 AA?! LOL! Nope.
-
3 RespuestasThis gun is 2shot head shot to low armour build gardians. I use it alot when i dont run tlw.
-
1 RespuestaIf it was buffed to that level, EVERYONE would be using it
-
1 RespuestaNot to increase the dmg, but I would like for it to have a perk similar to overflow, where if you have a charged super, the rof is increased.
-
1 RespuestaNo -blam!- that it don't need a buff it needs 2 be on par with all the other guns both the first curse an last word is a actual gun modeled after the gunslinger golden gun so get over it an also golden gun still the orginal first firefly gun in the game an 2 be honest it should be the only one with firefly

3 RespuestasThe gun is really good on a maxed armour titan
-
6 RespuestasI use it alot and even i think a two headshot would be op. A precision shot does like 95 damage or something like that. Once you get used to shooting it its pretty leathal
-
4 RespuestasThat would be too strong
-
12 RespuestasIt can kill in one headshot and two body shots. And it should absolutely NOT kill in two headshots. It would be beyond OP and would end up getting nerfed into the ground instantly.
