Bungie and Destiny are both improving. Bungie avidly reads these forums and scans the data they get from the game. They are trying to improve so much and yet we still yell at them.
Do you think that they are improving?
Edit: You guys are brining forward some really interesting points. Keep them coming.
Edit: Thank you for all your points. They are giving me a better perspective.

I'm generally impressed with Bungie...I dislike some buffs & nerfs, but you can't please everyone. I was coerced into Destiny because a mutual friend bought it & he needed a fireteam. Before I chose my first guardian ( bought book for game), I knew it was right down my alley. Been hooked ever since. Week 2 player

Some strides have been made, but not as many as could be. They continue to underestimate their lack of content. Update all the strikes and raids and look how much content there suddenly is. I do like how they made some improvements to the story progress with TTK

1 RespuestaThey've shown growth over the course of a year, each "expansion" shows that in varying degrees of success. But I want to know how Bungie is learning; are they learning by example or are they taking notes from observations made from other games or both?
-
1 RespuestaI agree. I just wish the community could be happy with what they get for once. They're like a little toddler "wah wahhh wah i want more wah wahhh wahh thats not good enough"

3 RespuestasThey are improving
by 0.04%
Yup frop crappy to crappier.

1 RespuestaGarbage PvP PvP that destroys PvE Glitchy raids (old and new) Micro transaction after micro transaction They have nerfed more than half of the game into the dirt (and are gunna do more of it come the 12th) Stale content "We listen to the community"..... must be packing your ears full of shit first. I love this game, and have quite a few accomplishments...... but, seriously. I bought this game for what it was advertised as. Not this clogged garbage disposal it has become.

18 RespuestasEditado por TheArtist: 4/10/2016 2:28:24 AMNo. I think Bungie is twenty years out of step with the rest of the industry. They're management style and way of interacting with the community is more like that a of a company from the 1990s than one in 2016. They are slow, and stubborn compared to other more responsive and nimble video game developers. The new CEO seems to be allowing for better communication with the customer base (community). But beyond that Bungie keeps making the same mistakes in managing the game that they've always made. I HOPE its only because the new CEO hasn't had enough time to allow to a significant change in direction....and that it not that he agrees with the way this game is headed. In short, Bungie refuses to 1. Accept that Destiny is an MMO-RPG that also happesn to be a FPS. 2. Accept that you can't manage a MMO-RPG the same wy that you manage a typical FPS. 3. Accept that they have no experience in managing the kind of game they actually created...and either hirer people who do have it.....or reach out to companies (cough Blizzard cough) that have that experience and learn from them. Instead we watch Bungie slowly ruin the game by alienating its PVE players in pursuit of a PVP "balance" it will never attain because it trying to so in a way that is incompatible with the kind of weapon system they designed the game around. Yet they stubbornly press on doing the same thigns, even they they haven't worked in nearly 2 years of trying. So no, they aren't getting better. At least not in mission- critical ways.

2 RespuestasI'm gonna say no until they realise all the dumb pvp updates are severely affecting pve.
-
Nope, Bungie is still NERFING crap just because people like it. BUNGIE, STOP NERFING PVE, AND STOP PUNISHING YOUR PLAYER BASE FOR LIKING A WEAPON! How about releasing something else to get our attention then punishing us during your stale mate!
-
2 RespuestasNo. They keep making a the mistakes over and over and flip flopping on their decisions. Year 2 events have been lame, half baked cosmetic only garbage. SRL was the best one but was boring after an hour on the same 2 tracks. They broke PVP With SBMM and lied to the community. The hard mode raid weapons were horribly executed. They reduced the end game to a single activity with triple RNG which made the grind way worse than year 1 (no year 1 content required grinding a single activity for over 6 months). Most year 2 weapons and exotics are generic crap compared to year 1. The story was improved (some is still weak) and the quest idea was a step in the right direction, but lacked any challenge and were mostly repetitive grinding.

1 RespuestaScans the data they get from PvP* There i fixed it for you, if they scanned data from the game, it would include PvE, but they don't do that.
-
We'll find out in about 7-8 hours.
-
This is a biased poll...
-
2 RespuestasThey are accommodating the cry babies constantly calling for nerfs in pvp which directly impacts pve, so no they arnt improving they are just making this game more duller and duller with each shit update
-
1 Respuesta"Improving" PvP while destroying PvE one update at a time.
-
2 RespuestasHow could they be improving when all they are doing is lying to you constantly, price gouging you with ridiculously priced microtransactions, and reskinning things and calling it new?
-
Not really... They are in a desperate scramble to regain even a bit of the respect they had 10 years ago.

4 RespuestasThis winter was a close call. But things seem to be picking up again

11 RespuestasEditado por Cowboybebop: 4/11/2016 7:43:38 PMAre you shitting me? Most of you kids probably hopped on Bungie with Destiny. Bungie went from 100 to 0 real quick. Stfu with your 'yes' little one year old account scrubs. Don't say Bungie, say Bungivision.
-
If they split pvp and pve with destiny 2 and add in ingame lfg and/or optional (Key word optional) matchmaking for all content that will show what direction they are heading. Personally I only play pvp now but agree pvps constant nerfing cycle is destroying pve for others.
-
They took a huge step back by making content irrelevant but since then they've been getting slowly better. Still don't like the direction micro transactions are headed but they're okay for now
-
Every time there's an update or DLC, it feels like Bungie is doing better and improving the game. In a few weeks, everyone will be back to hating Bungie.
-
They aren't and this game is a good example of why they need to stop even pretending to listen to gamers, game companies playing this game of "we care" via forum and twitter just causes unpleasant communities and if they do listen it's never right.
-
No. They are too anti player. They always do something no one wants. The horde of nerfs when kf dropped. This pve sniper ammo nerf.
