How did your "gjallahorn moment" go?
How did you and/or your friends react when you finally got that one item you were after or when you finally got something like the Gjallahorn or Hawkmoon?
Here's mine:
[spoiler]I finally got my hunter to level 20 (second character and it took me forever to get off my Titan and work on my hunter) so I was ecstatic. I had some hunter gear already so I used them on him and he got to light 26, my fireteam were on shortly after and we decided to run a VOG normal so I could increase my light, having run the raid through hard on my Titan many times and not getting much I barely expected anything. The raid went well and we beat the templar (honestly don't remember if I got anything) and it was about 4 or 5 am for me at the time and I was ready to go to bed, I thanked my team and told them I'd leave. (We were 4 and they could easily finish the raid without me) but they told me to stay for the "exotic" chest so I did. First time we opened it I was on my hunter and I got the cloack (which I was so happy about). Then we all switched characters and I switched to my Titan and hoped I would get the class item (really wanted it). From the 4 of us 2 had gjallahorns already so one of them said he felt someone would get something good and the two with gjallahorns "blessed the chest" by shooting it with their gjallahorns. Remember this is VoG normal and it was the night before reset so we didn't mind opening the chest on normal which had a lower exotic droprate. First my friend (who also didn't have gjallahorn) got red death and we laughed a bit because we thought my friends prediction came true and then it was my turn, I wanted the class item but expected nothing. When I opened the chest I noticed two items dropped and I had a feeling the top one was an exotic and then I got the Gjallahorn and I swear I stared at it for a good second confused then my friends started screaming and laughing and I started laughing but there were tears in my eyes and it was my first ever proper drop in an online game so I was super happy and felt so hyped. Probably my best memory in this game ever. I went to bed soon but couldn't sleep because of how hyped I was. It was also the first time I reacted to pixels on a screen :p
Tl;dr: I got Gjallahorn on vog normal chest which had a low droprate and reacted.[/spoiler]

Played since beta. Didn't get gjallahorn until August about 2 weeks before they nerfed the shit out of it

*immediately goes to Xur and buys literally three of them* Thanks. At least I get to use it before the TTK. Since the whole time I've been playing, rng has not bless me with said rocket launcher and just watched anyone else get the drop.

I was high AF, playing iron banner at 3 in the morning, my friend shouts to me to you finally got giggles haha, and I just look up, blazed beyond belief, tired as hell, and said oh, neat.

I was cheesing Crotas end hard and I repeated "please no Gjallarhorn" and it dropped. The raid group I was with a little annoyed afterwards though.

2 RespuestasI got it from Ir Yüt, one guy who was awful the entire damn way, did nothing but die complain and blame everyone else. Then he threw a fit about how i didn't deserve it because he was carrying the team, so i dismantled it. Good times.

I just sat there silent and texted all my friends to get on we just unlocked easy mode.

My gally moment happened 13 times, first time was cool. All the others was just a short laught

Forgot to mention that I was doing a nightfall with a couple of my friends (was taniks) I believe and when we got the rewards it read gjallahorn and I was happy because I thought my friend got it(he really wanted one) sadly it was mine and I was a bit disappointed then my power goes out before we go to Orbit. [spoiler]still got it though :)[/spoiler]

I got my gjallerhorn when I soloed a nightfall. I got it the same week Xur sold it for the second time.

Got it from lvl 28 Poe on my warlock :) Meanwhile my hunter only got me NLB and I think my Titan got Hard Light

Bottom fragged in a crucible game, and it dropped. I left the room for about an hour. Then i carried on. Getting it again. And again. And [i]again.[/i]

Kept on screaming "gjallarhorn" for a good half hour, went into patrol, popped a synth, destroyed dregs with Wolfpack rounds.

I got a gally and vex mythoclast in the same drop at atheon when I was the first person who died. My friends were pissed.
