I'm in no means a professional artist or critique, but your drawing is a foundation of better drawings to come. I'm a graduated graphics artist so drawing like vincent van gogh isn't my specialty. Though I'll give you the pointers I learned through my college life that made my drawings stand out more and look more eye catching. 1. Work on drawing with your pencil lighter, a heavy hand is hard to lift. Meaning the harder and darker your lines, the harder it will be to erase or blend. It also puts creases into your paper. So the lighter you go with pencil the more you can fine tune your drawing. Remember you can always go darker later after you have your set lines! But keep it light! 2. Blending can work wonders to your drawing. If you're not frequent on art supplies such as a blending stub you could always use cotton balls or a soft tissue. I always tried to refrain from using my fingers as it could leave the oils from your skin and make things look different. (But honestly I used my fingers tons and tons of times). For colored pencil I learned a trick of taking a little bit of rubbing alcohol in a small cap or bowl and dipping a Q-tip just a tad and rubbing it along your colored pencil. This gets rid of the lines and helps make your coloring all one color, smooth, and clean. Keep in mind the lighter the pencil coloring, the lighter the blending will become as well. 3. Most important, always stay positive to what you're drawing. The more you practice the better the turn out in the end. And asking for critique is a good idea, sure it may not always be what you're looking for yet it will help steer you in a better direction of ideas!

It's not awful, but its not amazing. Just keep trying, not bad for a first attempt. Good job man

1 RespuestaTo be honest not great. I checked to see your age and saw below that you're about 12? I am actually a professional artist in real life and my advice would be to; Loosen up as much as you can - try not to be too hesitant in your marks: draw like you move in the game! Think of the pencil like your gun - get a rhythm going and be confident. At first your drawing will be awful, just work through it and don't try and change or correct the bad ones - just start another one. Just remember every great painting took 10000 crap ones and a lot of practice for the artist to get there! Above all just enjoy the process!

Keep drawing, you will get better with practice. Study the Loomis figure drawing scale for human proportions, look into perspective drawing and draw simple shapes for body parts(cylinders/squares)lightly and build up the details from them. If you really want to get at drawing the human form I can recommend some books that will be very helpful.

The legs are a bit weird. Plus don't colour like a 2 year old.
-
looks decent also i can make my warlock look just the same, kuddos. the drawing you need to work on proportions. i hab the same issue starting out. work on the placement of what ever you draw. you can make i light line of symmetry and guide off that. well to be quite honest the legs is what made this a decent drawing, work on those and you have a pretty nice looking warlock.

1 RespuestaLooks decent. You should try adding a background to make the guardian stand out it bit more and eliminate a bit of the white around him. Right now it looks unfinished. Proportions could use some work too.
-
Crayon or pastel (I can't tell what you used) isn't a good choice of coloring tool, but overall the concept is good. Work on sharper lines and cleaner angles. I voted maybe.

5 RespuestasEditado por Cell: 4/12/2016 3:22:57 AMWhat do you guys think of this? (Isn't destiny related though) Edit: reason it's cropped is I have my signature which is my full name. I don't trust some of you. You know who you are
-
1 RespuestaIf you enjoy drawing keep it up, that's what's important. Otherwise, you'll only get better with practice.

1 RespuestaEditado por Azhidal: 4/12/2016 3:38:39 AMNot bad given it was done in what looks like crayon, nice work Recomend upgrading to using pencils and then color with color pencils. Makes the image sharper, easier to correct mistakes, and allows for better color blending. Also recomend learning to blend darker and lighter versions of colors, this creates a sort of shading effect that creates depth to the drawing making it appear to be 3D

3 RespuestasI don't mean to be hostile in asking this, but how old are you? My choice would depend on the answer. :)
-
1 RespuestaWell it's shoulders/torso is a little big compared to the limbs and head. What do you think of this meme that I made?
-
1 RespuestaGood for a beginner. Proportions are a bit off
-
1 RespuestaI think it's pretty good!
-
I would focus on construction of the body for a bit. Get the proportions right. Don't feel bad about tracing or copying other people, just don't pass it off as your own work. But this is a good start, the details are there.

"Hows my drawing? No"

4 RespuestasWhat age are you?

Not my cup of tea but keep up the drawing, practice makes perfect. What one person sees as crap, another will see as a masterpiece :)
-
Editado por Dona: 4/12/2016 3:13:15 AMLooks like crap. Try again. And don't forget to color inside the line, unless youre 5 and I can understand the lvl of difficulty.
