Does anyone even know how to work as a team in rift. All I even seem to see is everyone running for the spark and then they run in 28482828292 different directions instead of splitting into 3 teams of 2.

I'm not really sure about tactics on rift, but as a person that plays solo I usually just try and anticipate which way the runner wants to go and then stay ahead of him with an auto rifle and switch to fusion at the spark to try and take out the last guy.

Never expect help from others, you're almost going to have to play in a way that forces a sort of fake teamwork. Like running behind your allies, running with their supers, but not close enough to get counter supered. Let them peek lanes and essentially be fodder. I hate thinking this way but people are seriously terrible. Though the game itself is terrible because it's designed for teamwork without proper incentive to do so, so what can you do.

1 RespuestaYou think that's bad? Try iron banner control. NO ONE plays it like control, they ALL play it like clash.

2 RespuestasPlayed a team of 6 the other day. They didn't go for the spark once and still won. They did it by taking advantage of our team trying to play the obective and flanking us. Once they gained control of the map, they camped our spawn site. Did you know that in rift they're are only a few places you can respawn at? Once they got there all they did was kill us every time we respawned. We managed to ignite their rift 3 times.

It wasn't hard to figure out the "rules" and strategies to win. I do get why it can be annoying to play with randoms. Some play smart and score. Some just go for kills. Some go for the spark then run back to defend it and get kills. Others seem to have no plan whatsoever.

1 RespuestaI see a lot of people play rift just for kills.

It's just another version of TDM.

7 RespuestasIf only someone could make the God damn runner understand that he shouldn't lead the team towards the enemy rift but that he should stay behind the team and letting them to clear a path for you.

I kill the enemy and capture the zone right. Actually the hell with the zone.
it's all about that k/d
2 RespuestasNope. Unless its the other team.

People worry about wracking up kills instead of the fact that the enemy controls 2 zones and that points are only awarded by how many zones you control every few seconds. At least with Rift, people know to take the widget, protect the runner, or protect their field goal
