Nah firebolts need a nerf...adapt sure but I'm playing for fun, so being forced to play a way I don't find fun to counter a grenade...nah.. I will put the game down and play something else.
I should be able to play all 9 subclasses....not just one so I can avoid a grenade....nope
Maybe the sniper nerf is not needed, I've never had a problem with wombo combo either but firebolt....firebolt is broke.

it doesn't need a nerf, but its mechanics need to change. The time it takes a player out of the game is too long. Burn time just needs to be shorter. Damage can be the same though.

Call it what you want a mechanical change, an adjustment or a inny weeny alteration it is what it is...... a nerf.

no, a nerf implies making something weaker. This would not make it weaker, i would actually argue more lethal do to the fact that it wouldn't give the target as much time to activate some health or shield regen with weapons or abilities.

It's going to make the firebolt less effective in the way it works now. I don't mind calling it a nerf, it isn't a cool word and you might get branded a whiney cry baby but feck it....

Doesn't burn as long, takes the player out of the game for less time, easier to escape and Regain health.

That's true. Maybe make it do the same amount of damage but make the burn time shorter. Also reduce the range of Firebolt Grenades to make them more of a precision grenades that still punishes teams for grouping up too close.
