Name another game with a intended 10 year lifespan that has come out since September 14. Most games were designed to come and go. Leaving the players happy when they leave thus willing to come back when and if a sequel were released. On the other hand, Destiny tried desperately to keep us but failed. In doing so, they've managed to piss off a lot of their player base. The big difference between Destiny and other games: people left other games because they finished the content and moved on, people left Destiny because Bungie pissed them off with all of their over hype, lies, and bullshit.

Never said it did or didn't. Just pointing out simple truths. Nobody left Destiny because they've simply completed the game and moved on. Nobody I've talked to that has left Destiny left happy. It is what it is...

You couldn't have said that better. Don't get me wrong the game is fun but only if I look past and blind myself from all the nerfs and crap lol. I've seen too many of my friends stop playing because off all the bs Bungie has pulled.

Well you certainly have not struck a nerve. I just like to speak my mind. And in response to your statement: I know you and many others feel that bungie is killing itself. But in my opinion this company has got a vision for the future and whether you want to come along for the ride or not it's going to be amazing. :)

That's the problem, many people have lost patience with Bungie's lack of responsiveness and broken promises. Not saying Destiny is a bad game or Bungie is incapable of maintaining an audience, but the majority of the people I know that left did so because they were tired of their shit. They may or may not have a vision, but that vision has not been layed out for the player to see. All of the "fixes" outlined in today's stream were in response to issues that have existed for months. These are issues that have been articulated for months by the community. Don't get me wrong, I personally like playing Destiny when there is fresh content, but I understand why blatant lies and lack of timely response would turn many away. Destiny had 4 chances to regain players, I'm afraid those who have left are not going to magically change their minds and forgive being fooled (in their mind) 4 times.

Destiny 2 sales will suck AHAHA. You must live is some warped world. Destiny solidified itself with this gen. Only console based game with actual PVE raids and content and PVP.

desticles...the game is fun and in no way a "bad" game but OP has a point. I used to have pages of friends in the roster tab playing Destiny, but now only a few people. Many of my friends have moved on simply because they were unhappy with what Bungie has done with the game. I've seen it happen personally, perhaps you haven't.

It's OK I never expected some random forum kid to be able to read. But I never say or pretend that there's nothing wrong with this game. It is still amazing, even with its flaws. And I absolutely can't wait for the next installment. :)
