Idiot. I understand all of that. With the new gear infusion you can infuse high light into the new items and have them be high level first day. Why grind for special and self entitled gear when you can just buy it day one and infuse it right away.

I don't think you do understand all of that. If I infuse a high light piece of armor into the new armor; what have I gained? A different looking piece of armor at the light level of the gear I put into it. Now, tell me the difference between that and if I were to infuse my 310 murvaux gauntlets into my 285 iron companion gauntlets.

Because nobody has a single piece of gear above 320 light right now? Because the armor you can buy drops- in game- at better light levels, for free? Because you still have to grind for gear to make the bought gear useful? Because you'll still get bad rolls on your gear, even if you buy it? If someone is dumb enough to shell out cash- so they'll have nothing to work towards sooner- then yeah. The only one getting screwed is them.

I can't believe you are serious? Plz tell me this is all satire, no one could be that dumb. We could just use the high light gear we get or infuse what we have, there is no reason to buy new armor unless you like the way it looks and are impatient

Why am I an idiot? You just agree'd with exactly my point is. Its an Armor Skin and drops will be totally random. If some dope wants to spend his hard earned money vs his hard earned time grinding it equals out the same. Its still Random either way. Destiny Economics 101 I could make X an hour at my Daily job... I could goto work and then come home and drop money or I could waste my time grinding for everything which takes way more than an hour. However knowing better that I'm going to do those missions anyway so why pay a dime + there will be one a week in our post master?

Actually have even read what you said. I'll agree on one thing. In a week this game will be boring again. We'll have all the gear that's out there and back to square one repeating the same crap over and over again.

Yep. Lol We will have Multi-Colored Glow stick armor running around and I'm hoping easier to see in PVP. =)

A game designed around feeling special and thinking you've earned something.....this will break it. Everything is random but purchases aren't.

The box isn't random but the contents of the box are. =) No matter these Silver Randomness is going to A. Appease some B. Annoy some C. Meh some Personally its just a Skin and that's how I look at it. Just like XUR. You either bought it from XUR or Grinded your butt off for that Random drop. However the difference with Silver is there is no 10 points of light difference. Its still Light 3 either way.
