They are not selling gear, they are selling an armour skin/shader. The armour comes without stats and when you infuse it with a piece of armour all that happens is the stats transfer... all this results in is a change in the look of your armour.
-
It's a gateway to a bleek future of the game ending up like bo3 in terms of getting gear
-
I'm guessing you're implying that you're entitled to it. Entitled...to content...in a video game....that's cosmetic. Yes that sounded as silly as you think it does.
-
I'm implying Ppl should play the game and not buy there gear nice try though
-
No you're implying that selling cosmetic is lazy and greedy, which it's not. Provides an additional source of revenue for the developer and publisher or do you think that game developers are myths and games are made by tiny garden gnomes for free? Nice try though.
-
Aka. We need money
-
Yes because they don't have enough money already?!? Smaller companies can offer tons of free content while big ones like bungie turn free stuff into paid things?!?!? So glad I found out about Witcher 3
-
You just pointed out that you're probably one of the younger players who is too naive to comprehend how much work and money goes into creating and maintaining a game because any adult would have at least an idea of how things work in the gaming industry. No two developers are the same and you definitely can't compare games not even of the same genre.
-
Hmm you must have a copy of Bungie's pnl? Can I get a link because I wouldn't mind seeing Bungie's bottom line.
-
Editado por NellZzz: 4/6/2016 5:18:43 PMDon't need one. Any person with a brain knows that this industry is a business, and the very basics of running a business is to make money. There is no such thing as making too much money. Just because you have a river of salt flowing because you don't like micro transactions for cosmetic items doesn't make Bungie the bad guys or any company that follows that model.
-
Whoa! I never said the business model Bungie uses is bad. There is nothing perfect in this world and there will always be critics. I just simply want to see Bungie's pnl. ( just a little joke).
You must be a business person because I'm suprised you knew what a pnl is lol
-
I don't cut bungie any slack with all that cut content from the game like I. Said if the little guy can do it why not the big shots? Bungie and Activision have plenty of money between them to offer free stuff sorry bud perhaps if I didn't feel ripped off from the start I wouldn't be salty
I'm implying Ppl should play the game and not buy there gear nice try though
Does something stop you from doing that?
-
Yea better games I'll check out the update though
-
Yea better games I'll check out the update though
Having multiple games to play at one time but still wanting to unlock stuff is why those micro transactions sound appealing to people. You can play the game and earn it, or you can play dark souls 3 and get those cosmetics you won't have time to earn.
