I remember way back in the Beta when they released the Moon to us for two hours. I remember standing on top of a mountain on the Moon watching this group of three Guardians riding on Pikes go into the Hellmouth and never come out. I remember going in after them to see if they were alright, then figuring out it was a private area, and went too far into the Hive fortress. I remember getting lost within it and had to have Timur come and find me so I could return home.
I remember the first time I saw the Fallen Walker approach the battlefield and start the biggest war between Guardians and Fallen I've ever seen. Guardians falling left and right to the explosive cannon and their friends running to revive them only to join their friends in death. I remember sitting there behind cover with two other Guardians, Efrideet and Silimar were their names, two Guardians whom I've never seen before. Their light was incredible and they were both incredible Guardians. I remember running around the Fallen bodies and reviving the dying Guardians with Silimar fighting off the Vandals and Dregs while Efrideet sniped from far away at the Fallen Walker to distract it for us. I remember all the Guardians running from cover at the same time towards the Walker with everything they had, firing until their guns ammo depleted and until they used every last bit of strength their bodies had. I remember seeing the Walker fall and finally get destroyed by us all. We all celebrated with exchanged messages and dancing. and at this moment I knew that Destiny was going to be the greatest game of teamwork their was. Later I recruited Efrideet and Silimar to Iron Banner to train under my guidance.
I remember the days of seeing Guardians running to the Bounty Tracker to turn in their great feats against the Fallen and their endless army. I remember The level 20 enemies that you would run into if you went too far into the Cosmodrome. Me and my friends would always try to get past them to find any hidden treasure that might've awaited us. I remember always getting killed before we reached the Hive ship.
I know it's a lot to read but if you have any moments from way before Destiny became the thing it is today please share here. I want to read what was the hardest thing you've ever done or the greatest accomplishment you've had thus far. No I'm not doing this to become a popular poster or anything I want to remember what Destiny was before what it's become today. I want a reminder so I can keep going and continue my Legend.

1 RespuestaEditado por Doos: 4/12/2016 5:02:54 PMMy most memorable raid memory. Crota's end hard mode We had a friend hoping for crux to drop so we went for the raid. We got to Crota. Our friend decided to sword bear. Three hits in Crota stood and slammed him. Oversoul came up. We destroyed it. Sent our next swordbearer. He too died the same way. Once again we destroyed the oversoul. Ogres spawned and were dispatched. I took the sword in hand. I was able to hit him twice. But he had a bit of health left. He enraged and the over soul came out. My remaining teammates brought Crota to his knees. I ran for that last slam. Over soul popped. Supers gone, life ebbing away. The sword connected. Crota fell. .....and so did we. But rejoice! On the feed after that oh so clutch kill by yours truly. I saw the words Crux of Crota was found by my dear friend who was searching so dutifully for the last three weeks. We sang praises in the form of obscenities. Respawned and danced, waved, bagged. All of it. It was a joyous day.

1 RespuestaAbout October 23rd 2014 I just turned level twenty and was thirsty for a legendary. Needless to say after about 4 hours of killing enemies in patrol I got an engram and yeah. It was the crucible pulse rifle. I shit myself happy.

So many memories. So many achievements. So many kills. The amount of time I've put into this game is silly. Got three characters, Had another two that I deleted. Got one character on xbl too. Favourite parts?? Getting flawless raider on the VoG. Running skolas to help my friends acquire moments of triumph. There are loads of moments. From alpha first look, to yesterday's update. Smashing oryx challenge hard mode was pretty special too. As was hitting 30, 32, 34 and almost 320 light. I couldn't single out a particular moment. There are too many.

Whenever I think of year 1 destiny, I always go back to spekis I never did the raids simply because I didn't have any friends who played destiny and I wasn't as accustomed to lfg I've accepted that today and maybe someday I'll go back and do them. Someday. Probably one of my favorite year 1 memories is one special crucible match. I went 18 kills zero deaths. It was a simple 3v3 match I believe my load out was TLW, Party Crasher +1, and Wolves Bane After each kill my heart beat faster and faster. For some reason I loved using machine guns over rockets. Don't get me wrong, I respect the GHorn and all its glory. But I personally felt Thunderlord was just as good. Well. Maybe not as good. But a close second. I dunno. I like destiny still. I mean I play it every once in a while when I have free time. If I could change one thing about current destiny, it would be that I would want to make it fell less competitive and less stressful. I think we all had fun and we're happy because no one felt less than. We all were trying to save the universe together then, now you just have to "git gud"

1 RespuestaI remember aimlessly wondering the cosmodrome when I get a message from a level 18 hunter. He said, "want help with missions? (This was day one of destiny) I said yes and invited him. So we went to my mission, the relay I think it was. Anyways, I remember running back a lot to cover, and once I got my health back, I got up and it seemed like everything went to slow motion! I see the hunter run towards an enemy, slide and then shot gun him, he throws a knife at the next enemy and pulls out his golden gun to do a 360 killing 5 enemy's. I was in awe the entire match. I will never forget!

Editado por Lord Silimar: 4/11/2016 12:34:01 PMNobody knows what happened to Lord Skorri, she went missing yesterday. has anybody seen a Female Titan wearing full Iron Banner gear with Predawne shader on? We have received information saying that she's on her way back to the Iron Tower. Her ship's fuel line broke and had to land and get it fixed.

So many fond memories. I still have the first video I ever saved when I fought the walker on my way to Sepiks for the first time as a level 8 warlock (Dinklebot!). I watch it sometimes and marvel at how poor my PvE gameplay was. lol I remember the first time I ran into the hive Knight and Acolytes below the Cosmodrome with their level as question marks and how I was instantly wrecked. I still go back sometimes and smash them to bits out of revenge. I miss the sounds of the Guardians leveling up in the tower.. I loved hanging in the tower and watching the Guardians spawn in and run to cash in their completed bounties and hear that marvelous sound when they reached the next level.. I remember the charge and exhilaration the first time I ever beat Atheon and hearing the cheers of my fireteam over my headset.. Same when I bested Crota on hard and saw that beautiful Glowhoo drop.. Heh - now I solo Crota on Normal and Hard a couple of times a week just for the nostalgia.. (Raze-Lighter FTW) So much fun was had. Good times.

3 RespuestasOP is a "Beta player" with only 4265 Grimoire, 27 days game play, and missing a load of basic year 1 stuff like the "Eyes of Crota" card from year 1, which everyone from year 1 should have obtained. Best of all, he remembers running into LV20 enemies on the cosmodrome. The Level cap on Beta was 8, so those guys would have had ??? above their heads. Beta player huh? Yeah right. Muted.
