Music with headphones is like 10x better. '-'
Can't really describe it too well. I got a new headset a couple of a weeks ago and I'm totally in love with it. <3

What's the difference to a pair of 400$ Beats by Dre to my free ear buds?

Because it amplifies the sound waves using it's texture of cloth to suppress outside and inside sound. While also creating a bouncing motion reflecting off the material into your ear. Beats is the opposite; it takes everything great about headphones and amplifies the shot out of the bass. Tl:dr No shit headphones make music enjoyable. But concerts are 20x better because I can loose my ears and still enjoy the music

Not a fan of using them. Really don't like having them over my ears. I accomplish the same thing by having a nice system in my car.

Agreed but earphones are so much more concealable(for class) and portable(for travel).

I got a £250 ($353) pair of Sennheisers for free thanks to uni. 3 years later I am still finding new sounds in the music I've heard forever. I will never skimp out on headphones again. Earphones I'm not too bothered about; the most I could conscionably pay for them is probably £50, if I knew 100% they would sound good.

Yes. Louder, bassier, just generally more depth. I have recently started wearing headphones when I go out because I wasn't using them enough and I missed the sound quality (lol yeah I'm one of those douchebags)
