Is saving my crucible and faction packages for the new update useless? I know it was for the previous expansions but I wasn't sure if they've changed that for the upcoming update. I tried to edge a couple of them but went too far and leveled up lol.
Update: I decided to save the packages. Hopefully it will upgrade with the update. If not I'll have legendary marks.

Even if not new gear, it'll be raining gear for you on update day. Maybe some infusion fuel.

Worth a shot, I'm going to try it as well
-
Why not save them and see its not like it can hurt anything by waiting.
-
Its gonna be like the engrams that were saved before an update, they will only drop gear from before the update, so dont bother saving them, and as already been said with the new update to faction rep gains you will be getting packages a lot faster now so just grind for rep after the patch drops.

I'm saving mine. Crucible and Vanguard packages after the update will have a chance of a year 1 legendary drop (e.g. Shadow Price).
-
I'd say try! It's certainly worth the though or the chance

2 RespuestasI tired that with TTK. All I got was useless stuff from Y1. Not one of my saved packages had new gear in it.

With how easy it's gonna be to get rep now, you might just want to pop as much as you can. The only exceptions to this is Cryptarch, since it's the only faction getting new loot added to the drop table, but not getting any rep boosting fixes. If you're near a cryptarch rank, you might want to save it.

Editado por Lull9: 4/4/2016 9:12:52 PMYou're only going to get chroma compatible armor that is essentially the same as the year one faction stuff or possibly one of a handful of year one weapons that aren't terribly special and will probably roll with bad perks anyway. I wouldn't waste too much thought or effort on it.
