Hello, fellow Warlocks!
DeeJ tweeted out a tiny glipmse of what we will see in the last april update reveal stream. Something is going to change on us warlocks, i would love to hear what do you think will happen? Im thinking that Voidwalker might turn into a some sort of Support class.

Lots of solid and great discussion here. We've been trending here all day! Alright, now that the stream is over, what do you think of the weapon changes and the warlock changes? I personally like them. The res thing is abit eh imo but can't wait to hop in to the crucible on the update launch day!

3 RespuestasWe're gonna get nerfed into oblivion. Here is what would be nice to see happen to the subclasses as acceptable changes: Stormcaller: -Proper damage scaling based on distance to target (ie farther away targets can take 6-8 ticks to kill) -Chained enemies take significantly less damage. Chained damage is increased when the Double Chaining perk is active. -Transcendence works on new based mechanic: It will activate whenever your super is cast but the duration time is based entirely upon how charged your melee is and Health gain is based on grenade charge (ie less charge means less gain) Grenade and Melee are consumed upon super activation -Landfall can no longer destroy a Defender Bubble (seriously, why is that even a thing?) -Decrease to armor while in super (this should help encourage the idiots to realize that you should shoot the super) Sunsinger: -Flame shield has a shorter active time (reduced to a 5-6 second duration) -Burn damage decreased from 7 to 6 Voidwalker: -Increase damage of Nova Bomb (PvE needs this buff bad) -Increase Nova Bomb projectile speed and distance before fall-off

I still have my bladedancer that I started with when I got this game In January. Maybe the nerfs won't bother me much because I still have so much to learn. Maybe they won't bother me because I remember how blizzard screwed up tons of things nerfing crap when the Burning crusade came out and proceeded as wrath of lich king came out. So I'm used to it. I'm sure that I'll just adapt. I don't understand the bitching and hate. I get shadowshotted and havoc fisted, and fire hammered all the time and I don't cry about it. When I hear a Hunter start arc blade I don't get angry. When I'm going head to head storm tracing another lock I'm not crying nerfs. Why can't people adapt. The participation ribbon generation feeling they are entitled to roll everyone in a game is ridiculous. I could understand more if we paid a subscription fee but it's not that.

1 RespuestaInthink firebolt grenade or viking funeral gets a nerf and transcendence, rightly so... BUT, i am pretty sure warlocks will see some buffs to the subclasses like the titans did. Everyone is using solar shield melee, so i am pretty sure there will be a buff to solar wind and brimstone. And we will see a buff to song of flame. However, after this update hunters will cry, because they are the only ones that haven't gotten a buff to their subclasses yet..... These are gonna be the next toxic posts here...

1 RespuestaI don't know and neither does anyone else at the moment but what ever happens I want to hear nothing about our kind from hunters or Titans ever again,because what will happen should resolve the salt storm that revolves around sunsingers which should end everyone's vendetta against us when it come to firebolt and Viking funeral. I personally stopped running sunsinger all together and went back to ye old void walker.

The reason that those special perks are there is to create diversity in the game! For example, is there anything like Viking Funeral in any other subclass? No, because it is a unique perk to the Sunsinger subclass. Before Stormcaller, there was no other subclass that could choose to charge their super faster. Bungie thought that we would like the choice to do that because it would really make the game diverse and fun to play around with and challenge, instead of just crying for nerfs! What really sickens me is that people complain so much about how bland the game is on terms of diversity. I've seen posts that are just asking for more perks, and then the other face of the community is complaining about the "overpoweredness" of the unique perks in a certain subclass! I've looked through every subclass and each one has extremely unique perks that could be really good if people didn't complain that one is over powered! Good god. (If u took the time to read this rage, thanks)

Thinking voidwalker will become a support class is silly, it's the perfect offensive class as it is and needs no changes whatsoever. Storm caller will get nerfed which is fine as it needs one. I think they are going to totally rework sunsingers because everyone (myself included) uses the same ToF + Viking Funeral set up due to the rest of the passive abilities being absolutely garbage, solar wind is the biggest joke especially now that it doesn't even work at all. It's not a true support class like it should be as it's only support ability is song of flame which is very underwhelming, even if it also healed guardians and charged their supers better it would be much more deserving to replace fire born or radiant skin.

I'm predicting stormcaller will become utterly useless, sunsinger will get some nerfs, and voidwalker might get a small buff. Edit: Would be good if we got blink on ALL classes since we dont have shadestep or that twilight life jacket.

10 RespuestasI would love to see sunsinger turned into a support role sought after like defenders and nightstalkers, Ie remove fireborn and skin, and make song-like buffs (except a bit stronger than grenade recharge), eg team health regen, agility and weapon handling, (maybe even damage). Just a suggestion
