Sandbox Update Predictions
Edit/note: [b]This is not my personal opinion on what should or shouldn't be buffed/nerfed. Im basing this objective prediction based on all of the feedback on the forums I've seen over the past 4-5 months from other people. [/b]
- TLW and Mida nerf. TLW will get the nerfhammer more so than mida. [b]Check[/b]
- High RoF auto rifle slight nerf. [b]Check[/b]
- Nightstalker grenade combo slight nerf.
- Viking funeral/touch of flame slight nerf.
- Stormtrance won't have the ability to kill other supers during landfall and transcendence will be shorter. [b]Check[/b]
- Hammer of Sol will get a slight buff.
- Bladedancer will get a slight buff.
- Snipers will get looked at I'm sure. [b]Check[/b]
- Shotguns will get a small buff.
- Icebreaker/sidearm special ammo exploit will be addressed. [b]Check[/b]
I'm just being objective here, but this is what I think will be the majority of the update. What else do you think they will do?
Edit: Looks like i was 50% right. I'm personally quite happy about the new changes.

My prediction is 90% of changes will be nerfs not buffs, it's the Bungie way.

Special ammo will be nerfed across the board. Bungie has never nerfed a sniper in any of their games.

I hate the thought of them nerfing Arminius. I only use it in PvE and it's amazing. Please don't screw with it.

1 RespuestaNerf TLW?! Haha no way. They need to start buffing things to bring back some life back into the crucible. Take Viking funeral out of the game. Give hammer Titans either a buff in armor OR increase to the speed of hammers thrown. The most important thing I want is them to fix phantom bullets on hand cannons. Snipers are fine just need to make counter weapons better.

How about we buff everything to how it was in Y1 Bc it seems like no matter what tweaks/nerfs bungie applies this community finds something to rage about on forums bc lately it seems like only a few weapons are viable now a days and this is not bungie's fault it's the communities

They wouldn't take a whole livestream just to release notes and number changes. Deej said subclasses would be "going under the knife", so they must be changing them in a pretty dramatic way.

Everything seems good, except shotguns they are in a good place but if they will buff them it needs to be the higher RoF ones, they have really no incentive to be used

3 RespuestasThey need to stop nerfing and y'all need to stop asking for nerfs. Guns like mida weren't op until they killed every other gun because of the whiny children on here call for nerfs every 10 seconds. If they would buff other guns this wouldn't be a problem

I think they might buff range on shotguns to compete against the snipers. Maybe a nerf in aim assist on the Mida so it's not as easy to land headshots.

Low rof auto damage buff hc accuracy and ammo buff pulse damage buff in addition to what you said. With mida I hope they leave it and instead buff the handling of other scouts to even put the playing field.

Everything you're saying is what the community thinks, but Bungie is known to do some of what the community asks, and then throw in shit nobody wants So they'll probably nerf pulse rifles and rockets or something
