So I've been screwing around with BD's as of late, and been having a lot of fun with it (despite the nerf to blink)
Currently I'm running with Bones of Eaos (scout rifle + side arm or shotgun load out)
And while I love the added mobility it offers, I can't help but feel I'm slightly gimping my kill potential due to the shorter super up time I have due to not having the mask.
So my question to ya'll is this.
Which would you suggest? The mobility I feel helps my neutral game more, but the raw killing potential of a longer super duration is very tempting as well. Especially when plaint 6v6

It feels like you're gimping your kill potential because it is gimping your kill potential. As good as Bones are, they aren't Mask. Super uptime with BD is important especially considering that BD neutral game is strong. It's why I use something like Sealed Grasps or Spine on my Gunslinger instead of Symbiote: I feel like there are too many situations where I could have gotten a kill with an extra throwing knife or grenade, whereas I rarely have to use all 4 GG shots and I don't want to give up Chain of Woe because it's basically a discount Outlaw. Mobility is important in this game, but you see multikills come mostly from Supers. you get more kills with ArcBlade than by outmaneuvering someone with a jump. But don't quote me on it, my BD experience is limited at best

Since you apparently don't like Blink I'd run Bones over Mask if you don't have the Tarantella. Mask only adds one extra arcblade attack. If you have the Tarantella, use that with blink over anything else but its affect isn't that noticeable either.
-
Tarentella, grenades charge much faster and you get an average of one extra super per game. You should be using blink making bones a bad choice. MotTM isn't bad, but overall Tarentella is the best choice for BD.

1 RespuestaYou mean Mask of The Third Man actually does something? I find my Super runs out sooner when I have it on, lol. The fellow below me mentioned Ahamkara's Grasps, that's what I run when I play Bladedancer. You can have two backstabs up at once!
-
4 RespuestasI run sealed ahamkara grasps for double melees....love blink and mask is kinda just 3-4 swipes more and done...not worth it imo
-
2 RespuestasTarantella. Idk why but for me anyway, whenever I use the tarantella I feel like it lunges further and actually hits the target.
-
Bones of Eao.
-
You're making Arcblade doubly worse by not using blink AND not using Mask of the Third Man. I'm not a huge fan of blink but I feel it's fairly necessary for strong Arcblade usage.
-
Arc blade is very vulnerable so imo you're better off not using an exotic specifically to increase the chance of one or two extra kills. Bones really allow me to consistently rain buckshot from the heavens so i vote bones of eyylmao

Bones for life
-
2 RespuestasI'm a big bones of eao fan for pvp. Increased control jump. Jump from across the map to over someone's head and shotgun them in the face. Works 60% of the time, everytime.
-
2 RespuestasBones isn't an exotic that specifically caters to the arc subclass like the mask does.
-
Lucky raspberry or tarantella.
-
Third Man + Encore Easily 4-6 kills per super
-
5 RespuestasI always went lucky raspberry
-
I run a max intellect/discipline build, with blink/backstab when sniping, and blink/fast twitch when shotgunning. For exotics the tarantella is phenomenal but mask is ok
-
Bones for everything simple.

1 RespuestaEditado por TrulyDontCare: 4/4/2016 12:50:17 AMI'm a fan of BoE. Combined with the Better Control jump, it lets you become incredibly fast and mobile. It depends on your play style, though. If you run with high intellect, Mask might be good choice.
-
6 RespuestasWhy use supers. Just murder everyone blink shotgunning
-
2 RespuestasI personally prefer RDM, combine that with Mida and you have a very fun setup.
-
2 RespuestasMask. Bladedancer is too short without it.
-
Pvp I'd say mask. As for pve bones easy
-
3 RespuestasUse Blink.
-
The tarantula with a max intellect build is pretty good
-
5 RespuestasStick to the bones. Mask of the third man only grants one extra swing, and is only useful in pve when paired with encore, and as long as you have loads of enemies to kill you can just keep going. In pvp though, keep the extra mobility that the bones give you, and trade them out for a tarentella if you are lucky enough to get one.

1 RespuestaEditado por hva58hva: 4/4/2016 12:55:43 AMI like Don't Touch Me, or Mask of the Third Man with BD, otherwise I use Bones of Eao....love the triple jump.
