There is no way to justify Playstation exclusive content. Before you say "xbox got halo" or "cod did the same thing", you are wrong. Both consoles have first party exclusive games. That's the way it has been since the beginning of gaming.
Secondly, timed DLC is not the same as timed CONTENT. With timed DLC, you have to wait a month longer to be able to PURCHASE it. With this timed exclusive content, both xbox and ps players are paying the SAME price except one group of people is getting LESS.
If xbox players had to wait a month longer to buy the dark below, it wouldn't be so bad. But we are getting screwed out of content that we paid the same amount of money for, simply because a large corporation put its hand in the cookie jar. Developers should answer to GAMERS, not corporations.
Let me tell you the truth. We are living in a RIGGED economy that benefits the powerful. We must stand up and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. No, Sony, you're not going to be able to buy your way into what you want any longer. We are ALL equal, whether we play on ps, xbox, or nintendo. We must stand up to Activision and Sony's corporate GREED. We must make the gaming industry work for ALL OF US, not just the powerful, wealthy manufacturers on top. We must hold Sony accountable for their reckless, illegal behavior and nearly crashing this entire industry. We are going to ask them to pay their fair share so that our kids have games worth playing.
I am calling for a boycott on Sony and Activision until this issue is resvolved. Sign here to join the gaming revolution.

-blam!- xbox , I own both

In what world was COD ever exclusive to either console? Last generation, people who bought COD on XBox got exclusive timed content, exactly how PlayStation is getting exclusive content now. It's business, don't like it, get the other console.
-
It's not that you're getting less. That's the wrong point. We have people willing to work out deals to give us gifts. You don't. This is what is going on here. As I've said before a year is way too long and unreasonable. It should be a month like usual.
-
Was it just as unfair for years that people who owned a PlayStation system couldn't play halo at all? Who forced you to buy an Xbox? Bungie or Activision? Tell me which one touched you in the bad spot and made you buy the wrong system! I'll make them make it right

I want mariokart

That's not how the world works but I hope this looks good on your NYU application good luck

Don't you talk about the future of gaming for my son, as if you know what they want. You dick bag... Oh wait, is this bait? I can't tell.... I think you may actually be deluded....

2 RespuestasSo basically you're paraphrasing to degrade any legitimate examples of where you're wrong in your opinion so you can make Bungie sound as bad as you possibly can while ignoring the simple fact that Sony signed a contract while Microsoft didn't. It's that simple, you want the exclusives then go and switch to PlayStation.
-
6 RespuestasThat just goes to prove that sony cares enough about their gamers to pay lots of money for a "better" game perhaps?
-
We're paying the same price because Sony already paid that extra for the exclusives. So they already covered you on that item for when you do get it.

6 RespuestasEditado por catrodsan: 4/2/2016 10:17:37 PMThere is a way to justify a year long exclusive content, and Bungie agreed to it. A lot of money. According to Bungie/Activision what Sony paid in behalf of their players was long enough to justify a year long content. Calling for a boycott is a bit naive. Sony hasn't done anything reckless or illegal. Microsoft does the same thing with timed contents. And if you want kids to have a good "gaming" future, show them the out doors.
I don't mind timed content either. It gives enough money to make sure the game is funded. I don't care if one console gets it earlier, it's not like I'm playing with them and they have an advantage.
8 RespuestasBitch to Microsoft Its entirely them

"There is no way to justify Playstation exclusive content". Actually yes there is. Sony paid Bungie to do it. Therefore, Bungie is doing what Sony paid them to do. Get your buddies together & bitch & complain to Microsoft if you're unhappy about it. Bungie is not the reason nor the company you should be whining to,

6 Respuestashaha hahahahahha suffer. "best experience only on playstation" newsflash, every mulitplat game is better on playstation. every game has better graphics or runs smoothly with the extra power or larger online communities. they have tons of exclusive stuff and even updates... ever look up patch notes and compare on your other games ? lol.

1 RespuestaIts called capitalism. Deal with it

It's called capitalism. Don't like it, vote with your wallet.

Let's clear one thing, no one cares about your snowflake feelings.

boycott sony ? your blaming sony for this ? lol when xbox bought dead rising and the sales failed enough to end the series. then just this Christmas xbox bought tomb raider, cramed it with microtrasactions and shoved it against the biggest lineup of titles with no add support. the killed the game. Litterally killed it. xbox ruins entire franchises with exclusivity, almost every 4 months ! you wanna boycott sony because your xbox doesn't have a gun on desnty a game made for playstation? good luck. if your having a problem you already don't have a playstation... you've already not bought it. newsflash 6 times more players on ps4 then xbox...
-
Lets clear one thing up. You're an idiot. ~ from all Xbox one players

Sony paid more than Microsoft, they get the goodies. Welcome to business. It ain't changing anytime soon.
-
They did pay their fair share. And then they paid more to reward the people that bought their systems with extra content. You're right op this was a good deal.

Yes, but I have here a piece of evidence that will prove this case
it is what it is
