Too many times this Iron Banner has the opposing team been winning by 7000 points with no hope of us catching up. It pisses me off because it just wastes time and destroys any KD I have. I'm sure you've been put into a match where the score is 16000: 9000 because someone got tired of his team not taking the zones and you think, "why the hell has this game not ended yet?" I understand Bungie wants to see comebacks, and that happens like 1/100 times, but the other 99 are just boring, kd destroying slogs. What do you think?
Edit: Someone brought this also to my attention but it should also be called if there is 1 person on the other team and it is near the end, it should just be called. That is unfair af. It should take into account time left and # of players on the teams

I've been in games at 16,000 to 6,000 and the mercy rule didn't kick in. I almost wonder if it was silently removed.
-
1 RespuestaI've come back from more than 7,000 before. It's obviously rare and not easy, but it's possible. Since it is possible, I'm glad the mercy rule is the way it is
-
1 RespuestaIt should be anytime after 5000 pts for team 1 they double an enemy score
-
Editado por K1LRR: 4/2/2016 9:01:57 PMKd should be the last thing on your mind. Just leave and find another game. But bungie won't make any changes to it due to population.
-
2 RespuestasI've been in a match with a 10000 point difference

4 RespuestasI think it should be when you're losing by more than half. Last night I got put into a pretty bad match. The enemy won 20020 to our 9000. How is that not enough for mercy rule to activate?
-
Editado por redforeman67: 4/2/2016 6:15:00 PMI would be happy if it were consistent, it almost seems random when it's called. That and getting dropped into a game with no chance at winning.
-
1 Respuesta5000 is hardly insurmountable and it's ridiculous that anybody would suggest that's where the mercy rule should be called.
-
It's not that it needs calling sooner, more that the rules need to change to accommodate having players leave. I joined a game against a fireteam of 6, the score was 10,000 to 6,000 but it was just me and another guy who just joined on my team, what's the point in letting that game continue
-
It should be called with a consideration of time. If theres about two minutes left and theyre ahead by a good amount, it should be called. If bungo looks at their crucible stats and can see where people fight, they can also see how many points in an average game people can earn compared to ones where people are dominated and have the time left be a factor. "Youre out of time guardians, youll never catch up, maybe next time!"
-
2 RespuestasIt should. Especially when there is only ONE person on the enemy team.
-
If the difference between teams is 7000 or 8000 above the other team the mercy rule should be applied.
-
Well it needs to be sensitive to player quitting. That way a player doesn't get stuck getting spawn killed with heavy in a 1v6 for seven minutes.
-
Editado por Dr_Sorethumb: 4/2/2016 7:55:38 PMDoesn't it kick in if one team gets 12k before the other gets 4k? IMO change it to a >5k gap where the winning team has >10k or if three or more players on one team quit.
-
2 RespuestasIt seems arbitrary. Some games I've seen it kick in with a 14k point gap, some low as 8500. Or is it not the point spread that makes it go?

8 RespuestasBad team mates don't destroy my kd. Bad plays I made destroy my kd. ~I'll Ram your ass!

If players want to leave, they will. You don't need the game to end the match for you, that's lazy.
