Destiny is the best game of 2016 as well?
It must be because 2 years later everyone is still saying Destiny vs (insert name here)...
Or the thousand "this game will kill Destiny" threads..
If a game is so trash and garbage then do you guys really have to bring it up every time a new game is released? You guys are making it seem like its the best game ever made and that nothing can stop it

2 RespuestasDestiny was never the best game for any year. It wasn't even among the nominations for best game last year. It didn't even win best Shooter. It lost to Splatoon for best shooter. Not even close to a nominee for GOTY. Let that sink in. Just because it has a cult following if addicts =/= best game.

It's kinda' like some guy deciding to start eating extremely healthy, after spending so much of his life giving into cravings for greasy, salty, sugary foods. He'll go about telling everyone how bad the food they're eating is, and detesting unhealthy foods every chance they get. Why? To convince themselves they made the right decision and to keep themselves from ever going back to their previously unhealthy lifestyle.

Destiny has been irrelevant for some time now. The only people left playing it are addicts. The reason why you see "Destiny vs (random game)" is because people like trolling the forums. Can't wait to see Bungie hand out early access codes for the next shitty DLC to big YouTube channels. People will pick it up and remember how boring it is and leave again.

I never bring up Destiny, whenever a new game is released, in fact I often have a go at those who do. It was down to psychological tricks that so many played the game for so long. So many players were saying they stopped enjoying it long before they stopped playing. That they were playing it, but didn't know why. That will back fire on Bungie in the long term. Because a familiar theme among those who stopped playing is "never again". It is hard to know exactly how much of the original Destiny fan base, now detest it. But I would not be surprised in the slightest if it turns out that the game which killed Destiny, was Destiny.

It's retarded in my book. But just because people still play Destiny, doesn't mean it's the best game. People still play GTA 4, Hitman Blood Money, Turok and hell, even Mario 64. Destiny to me is far from a fun game. I only ever played the beta though, but back then I decided not to get the full game. It was just the same boring stuff over and over. I am looking forward to Yooka & Laylee, Little Devil Inside and Outlast 2 a lot more this year.

We all have seen a lot of "Destiny vs. The Division", which it points out what Destiny 'should've been' but that can be easily be used for other game comparisons. On that note, it would not be a good argument. That's like comparing Skyrim with Rocket League. Two different games.
