Hey Guardians,
My Question is for the Pvp Players out there, Recently Dropped Colovances Duty in IB with Crowd Control & Hidden which i was satisfied with but when i went to set it up i had a Dilemma as to whether I should use Explosive round or feather mag?? I picked explosive round at first but it states that a portion of the damage I do will damage the area around the enemy, so am I wasting my time with that perk if it's reducing impact on the initial target?!
Advice would be appreciated, if it's not a great roll I'll go back to Mida :-)

Mine dropped with Zen Moment, Field Scout/Feather Mag/Smallbore and Hidden Hand. Not bad I'd say.

2 RespuestasExplosive rounds has zero damage fall off and will increase damage versus some pve enemies and enemies is proximity The other reloads faster.....

1 RespuestaWhat else is in that middle column? I personally am a stability whore, so I'd use a stability perk if you have one available.

1 RespuestaBe aware that using explosive rounds means some of your head shot kills will not count as a precision kill. Reason is the little explosion may be what actually kills the target

I have the same roll on my hunter, but with a stability perk. I would go with oiled frame. I rather have more ammo in the mag and lose a little range.

1 RespuestaSo, just inspected your CD. It is a good roll, keep it! As for the exclusive perk, I'd choose Oiled Frame. I'm no PvP expert but here are my reasons for this choice: Explosive rounds: in PvP they're only good if you want more stagger (but HC rounds would be better!), with a high impact scout the stagger is already high, and for me, explosive rounds make getting precision shots harder. Feather mag: will reduce your mag size, which is only balanced by the increased reload so there are no benefits. It is just a trade between mag size and reload that has no net increase in performance. Oiled frame: reduces range, but just look at the range on your CD! It's huge. I can't imagine Oiled Frame will reduce it enough to make any difference in PvP. For this reason it is the best choice because it increases reload with no impactful trade off. In an ideal world you'd have a stability perk or maybe HC rounds in the exclusive tree but your two independent perks are perfect (outlaw would have been good too). Hope this helps!

8 RespuestasI'm using the ib roll for my Colovance. It's accurate as hell but I would love your roll because explosive rounds is a good replacement for high calibre. You can basically blind snipers with headshots.
