Am I the only one that noticed in control ppl only want the "B" flag? Like why not "A" and "C"? Nope....everyone goes for whatever one they spawned next to, and "B"......

You're team is probably trying to hold 2. If you go for the far flag you'll flip the spawns. People trying to get all the flags is INCREDIBLY infuriating when playing maps like shores of time. The strategy should be to hold the two flags that are closest together then play defensively.
-
If you're in a fireteam leave one person at A or C and the rest of the team rush B. First minute of the match is really important.
-
Because we want to "B" the best! ;)
-
Depends on the map honestly. On a lot of maps B is literally the middle point and easier to defend while holding another. Now on something like Vertigo, you want A and C since they're so close together with a sniper perch in between.
-
Yes, sometimes the zone in our spawn isn't even ours anymore but nope, they just need B. Other times they are literally getting mown down at B, you could watch them run in and die in turn but nope, they need that B.

Editado por jareids: 4/2/2016 7:14:35 PMDepends on strategy. When playing with randoms, the most naturally working start is to cap A or C (whichever your team spawns near) and then go cap and hold B. This is what I usually do but it's really map dependent. Sometimes it's helpful to push B right off the bat when your team is calling A or C. And then some maps like Vertigo, it's extremely beneficial to keep A and C. Although fighting over B on that map is soooo much fun

Wow and you are the reason why control matches are lost. You know if you go to the enemies control point and cap it the enemy spawns in your control point right?!!! Wait that's a stretch let me spell it out in more detail. When you leave your control point and your team is going for B it leaves no one at your control point. When you cap the enemies control point the game spawns all enemy players killed at your control point. This results in the enemy taking your control point and then shooting your team in the back. That results in you losing all control points and fighting for the one point you ran completely across the map for in most cases. Time waisted running results in the enemy racking up more points than you and winning the game. Very very rarely does running to your enemies control point and capping it in the beginning of the game pay off when playing with randoms who don't know what your dumb### is doing. Sorry I'm ranting just have lost some games do to this rookie move. Again when playing with randoms this does not work if your on a good team it could result in a blow out!!!

Editado por Hufam4: 4/2/2016 7:07:00 PMTrue... I see some of your points but what I was saying is everyone is crazy for "B"(atleast in the games I played) and they would spawn in my spawn(let's say near A for example) but they would care so much about capping "B" that they would run past "A"(in my spawn) to go for it..and also.. Maybe I think this bc I played my iron banner about 70% with a fire team so yeah..it worked for us most of the time.. Like u said, a blow out
-
I let all the noobs take b and i control a - c. Then again that's why it took me 2 days to finish warlock and titan lol. Now I go back on ib to get more stuff

Editado por Hufam4: 4/2/2016 6:52:29 PMNice.. See there r some smart ppl left in destiny

Widows court and vertigo are good maps for controlling A and C....Usually B is in between the two zones on the other maps so you can control half of the map with the control of B, that's usually my take on going for B first
-
Played Vertigo this morning with one team, A and C and we dominated, later differant teams everyone just went for B over and over and over ........could not get anyone to help with any other zones, all they would do is go for B.......I think they thought we were playing Rift.
-
Ik right! See u get it...idk why ppl want it so bad...I'm over here killing ppl by "C" or "A" and tryin to cap those bc I've learned that it's just all out war at "B" and normally there is only a couple guys on the other flags so why not go for those?
-
This. Had a similar experience - I spent most of the time jumping between A and C, sniping from the platform. Top Score bounty done, thank you very much. Enemies tried to switch up their tactics but thankfully the randoms on my team caught on and helped

Mid map control
-
Because it is easier to capture/Control the zone that is closer to each other!
-
Not necessarily, I had a match where we easily controlled both "A" and "C" on each side of the map and we would spawn on each side and then converge to the middle to kill the other team and rack up points by letting them keep "B" so they kept spawning near the middle of the map and it was really fun tbh bc all they really wanted was "B" and we ended up winning :)

Um nah, as long as we get a map set up like that it works... Btw I'm not saying I do this all the time. Just sometimes for fun

Most maps B has the strategic advantage...location wise... Most of the time its the middle of the map, makes it very easy to keep the enemy pushed back to their spawn... I got bored of that strat a very long time ago... I go for Domination medals now...
