So the new PlayStation exclusive "Zen Meteor" was announced today on twitter by PlayStation. Its been going on forever that Xbox will eventually get these exclusives but a year after PlayStation gets them. This is something that drives people away from destiny is because companies are choosing a specific platform and giving it "benefits" over the other. This is why most Xbox members leave destiny earlier because there is less to enjoy about destiny, if it were the other way around you would find PS users would play less, but if it was equal then you would have more people playing because there is more to do there is that extra exotic to grind for or that extra strike to encounter and defeat. If this continues to happen in destiny 2 in 2017 its not going to look good for the game, it might as well be just a playstation game and i know they have a contract but it cant go on like this.
Edit* I just like how all those people who want to keep them and want it to be a playstation only game are not looking at posibilities, what if the tables were turned and we had every exclusive for every game? I bet you would be complaining too. Its not as simple as just changing console for alot of people because we might have friends that we dont want to leave, and if the tables were turned i wouldn't also mind saying that it wasnt right because i like to share whatever i can because im not selfish like some people here, we all paid the same price for the game, i think people just need to take a rethink about their option, and think about the postition Xbox players are in and the position PlayStation is in, exclusives are bad for the both of us as it tries to make us buy the opposite console and if we do it proves to them that they can continue to do this and screw us gamers over.
Edit2* Having multiplat games with exclusives is bad anyway it does nothing to help us but cause arguments like this yes i understand the contract and sony, but xbox wont be getting any new exclusive third party exclusive content. Nintendo have been this way for years and how much do they argue, little to none. http://www.techtimes.com/articles/86981/20150924/phil-spencer-ends-third-party-exclusive-games-on-xbox-one.htm

Playstations games suck so they brought rights for exclusives

3 RespuestasYes, keep making exclusives. I love to bathe in the tears of Xbox players!

27 RespuestasStop bitching and get a PlayStation. If it was the other way around, then so be it. I would tell people to stop bitching and get an Xbox. No matter what you, or anyone else for that matter say, exclusivity will not stop. Contracts are there for a reason.

4 RespuestasThey have a 10 year contract. There's always going to b year long exclusives for PS4. Microsoft was offered first and they declined. It's their fault, ur best bet it to buy a PS4
-
Do you not -blam!-ing get it? MICROSOFT DIDN'T BUY THE RIGHTS TO THOSE CONSOLE EXCLUSIVES, SONY DID, so why not blame Microsoft and not bungie?
-
Only things that get me are the grimoire from it and the exclusive exotics.
-
This argument is so fûcking stupid that it makes my head hurt. Bungie is in business to make money. They offered exclusives to both Microsoft and Sony. Microsoft said no. Sony said yes. Console wars are nothing new and have been around since Nintendo and Sega were going head to head. Don't be so obvious with your bias. The problem is that so many of you little children concern yourself with what others have. Grow up. Shut up. Piss off. Sincerely, An Xbox One Owner

I for one agree with you. Timed exclusive content only helps the console they gets it, but not gaming as a whole. However you have to understand it could have been the other way around. But Phil Spencer wasn't interested just like Shenmue 3. As for all you ps fan boys who say he's just mad, regardless he is right. Extra content in the long run only punishes players because they got "the wrong console".DLC shouldn't be a selling point for a console, games should. I don't own an Xbox one, but I would if they had exclusives worth the purchase. But not because I won't get something like an extra game or stage on a 3rd party game. On the upside this practice may come to an end. Especially if cross platform play becomes a reality. Just something to think about.

4 RespuestasI play on Playstation and xbox one. Please stop with the exclusives. It's just less content and fun for everyone involved. Xbox players are left out. At least make it 1 month and not 1 ye.
-
Its coz Bungie and ps have a 1 year contract that allows them to have exclusive items maybe micfrosoft did it we would but we all know they are busy avoiding paying their Taxes
-
39 RespuestasIf games has exclusives, it should be the entire game. Xbox players pay the same for less content.
-
19 Respuestas1 can't change it. 2 doesn't matter enough. 3 xbox has been doing it alot longer. 4 the game wouldn't have happened without sony so they reward the console by making them items.

6 RespuestasLoving how all the PS players keep bringing up Halo. The difference between Halo and Destiny time exclusives is that if you REALLY wanted to play halo you would buy an xbox and play it ust like we have to do for a PS exclusive game, simple. Destiny on the other hand is on both platforms but our progress does not carry over. So even if we were to buy a PS or buy Destiny for ous PSs we would have to completely restart our Destiny journey again on another console just because we want timed exclusives. Thats stupid. And for all the -blam!-boys who keep bringing up CoD dlc....we got the maps and weapons 1 month early no more than that, like you exagerrating bastards keep saying. We have to wait a year.

1 RespuestaI love how x box finally gets these when destiny 2 comes out
-
2 RespuestasHave exclusives, fine.....but a F**KING YEAR?!?! Most exclusives are a month, and the fact that so far every PS exclusive has been nerfed into oblivion by the time xbox gets to use it.
-
3 RespuestasEditado por SilentXyn: 4/10/2016 1:32:41 PMI don't agree with your point, but.......... I don't think that exclusives should last that long and be as OP as hawkmoon was which could be a two shot.
-
Multi-million dollar contracts.
-
1 RespuestaGet up on some game and have both systems!
-
5 RespuestasIt's a business deal Bungie made with PlayStation. Bungie gets some kind of financial or commercial benefit from Sony by offering exclusive content to PlayStation users. It's hardly the first game to do this.
-
5 RespuestasYou morons realise that you bought the game knowing there would be ps exclusives right?
-
7 RespuestasNot having access to one gun would make you quit a game that was transparent about exclusives? I remember that E3 where Sony said the best Destiny experience is on PlayStation, did you think they were lying? Having the gun in the loot table doesn't mean you'll get it you know, I have friends on ps4 that didn't get hawkmoon till after TTK dropped. And to all of you that says Xbox pays more for the same content, divide 2 (jade rabbit and Zen meteor) by the number of guns in the armory and multiply it by $40. That's the amount of money you're "entitled" to, if you choose not to stick around till they're in your table later this year. Go ahead take Bungie to court over a fraction of a cent.
-
5 RespuestasWe get Halo. Something that Playstation will never see.
-
3 RespuestasXbox player here and I don't have a problem with waiting. The stuff isn't game changing
-
I'll only rant if they make a PS Exclusive DLC.

1 RespuestaEditado por Brianprokpo456: 4/10/2016 2:09:46 PMIm a ps3 player, and honestly, they should remove exclusive exotics, Destiny as a social game, its better without exclusives, as they ruin xbox games, they "steal" xbox players
