"This weapon gains improved range and handling for a short time after revival."
1. This perk is only useful in 3 player activities. If I'm playing solo or in a mode without revives, (like a hard raid or control) this perk does nothing!
2. Not only that, but I have to DIE just for it to even activate! What if I'm doing a strike and I only die once the entire time? Or what if I don't die at all? This perk REQUIRES you to die before it does anything!
3. "For a short time." So even when it does activate, by the time my feet hit the ground I probably have about 3 seconds to find an enemy and make use of my temporarily improved "range and handling."
ARE YOU SERIOUS? Who at Bungie thought this was a good idea? Was someone just in the mood to troll everyone so they tried to make the worst perk ever? If so, they succeeded!

That perk should be removed ...

Agree, if you're getting revived in front of someone, you're getting sniped, it's a guarantee

4 RespuestasEditado por Swiftlock: 4/2/2016 10:31:00 PMI don't get it. Exhumed at least HAS situations where it can provide some kind of utility. I'm really confused as to why why people are calling it the worst perk. Shank Burn is far and away the worst trait in the entire history of Destiny. Shank Burn is so bad that the buff doesn't help against shielded Shanks. This means the perk fails miserably even in the ONE situation where Shank Burn would have any sort of use.

1 RespuestaI feel take a knee on any primary is worse

This is the issue with rng and double rng. Getting a good gun is one thing - but then you fight rng. Bungie can't blame players for gravitating towards stronger perks. Certain perks. Most of the new perks are garbage anyway.

Editado por Sideswipe: 4/3/2016 2:18:48 AMWhat really grinds me about perks like that is the ambiguous time frames and %s. *"Short time after revival" - how long is a short time? *Increased chance to return ammo to mag" - what %? 10% 25%? There's too many ambiguous numbers for anyone to really know if the perk is warranted or how useful it actually is. They addressed part of this when they showed us the timers for Int, Disc, and Str. Take it a step further and give us solid numbers!

Editado por MildlyDazed: 4/3/2016 2:13:20 AMGot imago loop with it too :( 1 dropped for me... But I got 6 marks in 9 nightfall runs

2 RespuestasActually i find that the revive based perks actually work off of standard respawn as well. They even proc in the tower, which is kinda funny. So they still work for 6v6. Still a shit perk, but yeah lol.

2 RespuestasWhat about the deer rack helmet for warlock. Ive never, "spawned with overshield". Wtf... dunno where it belongs or why. Im guessing for res sniping. But its a waste of an exotic perk slot imo.

2 Respuestaseye of the storm is worse, and the fabian strategy perk is a close second

2 RespuestasNot as worse as icarus

4 Respuestasnah man... Surrounded and danger close are the worst. people have done some testing, and the range is absurdly small for the bonus to proc, in pve you don't get enough of a bonus to make any difference, and in pvp... if you have 3 enemy players that close to you... you are probably dead or a second away from death. just no good.

10 RespuestasNaw battle runner is worst than that.

Editado por SuggestedPigeon: 4/3/2016 1:13:29 AMMost of the perks in this game need to be buffed considerably or removed. Honestly the situational perks would be better suited as general buffs that could be applied to the artifact slot to make them relevant as well. Like surrounded sucks when it takes up a perk slot on a weapon. Surrounded as an artifact perk would be pretty good because it's a hell of a lot better than "void melees have a chance of generating an orb but only after you get a solar headshot on a dreg"

Thats true shit. Bump.

2 RespuestasEditado por iDovahBear: 4/2/2016 10:59:53 PMBungie: Alright guys, how're those updates coming along; can the players expect any new perks for the new expansion? Activision: Actually, we have something to add in this regard; we'd like to formally request you add in a more grind-based mechanic. We thought perhaps perks would be an adequate area to... tweak. Luke Smith: Yeah, yeah; we'll just throw in a ton of stupid perks with random condition-based activation that basically makes them useless. And then those perks act as filler as players grind for optimum rolls, etc. Activision: We always knew you'd see it our way! Same time next month? Bungie: Yes, of course!
