For the love of God Bungie, add matchmaking to nightfall and raid already.
I still don't know why this hasn't happened. At least give people who are solo the opportunity to fail miserable. If the Division can have matchmaking for everything there is no reason this game can't.

1 RespuestaOptional matchmaking would be nice, still allowing solo players to run Nightfall and to load into a Raid solo while you wait for your group to join, while also enabling the bravers ones to attempt KF with a group of randoms. They should also convert the mostly unused "event plaza" (IB and Queen's Wrath plaza so far only) into an LFG area, with search options/requirements for Light Level, mic needed, class, etc. Even toss our actual stats in game and make one half LFG for Crucible with k/d requirements available.

They should at least add matchmaking to the nightfall. It's not hard anymore like it used to be. Year 1 nightfall soloers know what I'm talking about.

Yes please. I really want to matchmake into a raid where the only requirement is the minimum light level. Who cares is people want to communicate, who cares if everyone on the team are Bladedancers, who cares about what checkpoint I want to join.

With the way people abuse heroic strikes, I wouldn't see that going over very well. Maybe if it was optional... Personally; I'd rather solo them, than carry a couple randoms that sit back and move around just enough not to get kicked for inactivity.

The key here is that matchmaking is optional. You can still form a fireteam and not use it. Why not have it as an option for everything

2 RespuestasOptional matchmaking on nightfalls maybe but any matchmaking for raids is a nope. If they added an lfg in game would fix this issue. Lfg isn't hard to do and while you shouldn't have to go to some other website an lfg is way better than end game matchmaking in this game. I believe it would lead to more complaints than anything.

There is no reason for a team based video game to not have matchmaking, as long as its optional.

Definitely nightfall, simply from the stats I should hope that they will realise that not many want to do it without matchmaking

5 RespuestasI dont get why so many are against this, those against should be "i dont care, i play with friends or premade grp", its like people get hurt if others can find a group easier, no one said that if matchmaking for raids would come then premade groups would be a no no Alot of mmos have this and it works, people wipe and learn, plus, the majority of players would use this tool for farming, not learning tacts

I never understand the negativity towards optional matchmaking .. It would still give you the option to lfg or make a closed party with friends. It would have zero effect on you unless you choose to use it. Not having it has excluded and pushed away many players. Don't you want more people playing the content rather then less? The more people play the raid the more incentive bungie has to make more.
