That said, when I was a noob, I wanted a good scout rifle. So I looked around and saw The Saterienne Rapier. Being a noob, I could not buy it because I was rank 0. So I grinded pvp for [i]weeks[/i] and finally got it, and it was amazing. But now I have to grind pvp [i]again[/i] for a [i]chance[/i] to get it, with a [i]even smaller chance[/i] to get the same roll as mine. Why not add infusion on year 1 weapons as well? [b]Why should we grind pvp/pve for a [i]chance[/i] of our old weapons back?![/b] /rantover EDIT, read this please: Ok I don't want to sound whiny/entitled as there is a lot of good things in the update(Infusion fixed, better PoE, good emotes, etc) even this system of re-obtaining year 1 weapons is better than nothing. But I think it could have been better in regards to bringing back year 1 gear. Maybe have etheric light 2.0 or something, anything that would let us use our original year 1 gear. Of course raid weapons should probably be earned again in a level 40 VoG or CE/brought at a kiosk like exoitcs as they are better than most legendarys and have the same roll every time. But again, sorry for the complaint post, but I think It needed to be complained about, as I'm not the only one still salty about our gear getting left behind last September. Edit 2: I'm not saying year 1 gear should only be obtainable by ascending it, the new way of getting them is great for year 2 players or those who dismantled them, but I think having both ways of getting them would be best.
