Just checked out Xur and there's nothing that I really want. But I was thinking of spending some coins on either a exotic of legacy engram, but what's the difference? One is 19 coins and the other is 29.
Will whatever I decode be 280 light just like the armour he's selling or can it decide as higher or lower?
Also, how many exotics can you equip? For IB this week I already have 2, but normally only have the helmet.

Buying the legacy engram automatically gives you year 69 gjalspghron and a gif of deej winking.
-
Legacies will only drop YEAR ONE exotics (you can get a Thorn or a ghally) at light less than 170.
-
Legacy engrams will only drop at year one power levels and cannot be infused higher. These are basically made to just help finish out your collection.
-
Legacy is year one so it will decrypt at like 170 or less light.
-
Legacy engrams decrypt year one engrams to complete collections. Non legacy engrams decrypt at 290 if your light while decrypting is less than 299, if you're 300-309 they have a chance at decrypting at 310, if you're 311+ they will almost always decrypt at 310. You can equip one armour, one weapon, and technically class items because they have the "life exotic" perk. But for all purposes two.

Editado por LiIUziHurt-: 4/1/2016 11:39:00 AMThe 29 strange coin one will give you a year 1 exotic at 160 light, useless in pve but still works in pvp and also gives you the blueprint for the year 2 version. The 19 strange coin one will give you a year 2 exotic at either 290 or 310 light depending on your character light level. You can only equip two exotics at one time, one weapon and one armor.
