It's already been buffed. Stop being so greedy

Editado por BERSEKAEL: 4/1/2016 12:27:12 AMYeap, range from 4 to 4.5 feet (from T rex arms to T rex arms with nails...), is about half warlock's range and a fraction hunter's knife/bomb... BUFF DEFENDERS!!! Edit. Plus force barrier should proc on hit, just like any other class
-
Force barrier is way stronger than flame shield
-
Editado por Iron_Wolf321: 4/1/2016 12:32:43 AMYou can miss throwing knifes and smoke bombs. Titans have the best melee abilities excluding range. And you can activate force barrier with a frickin shotgun. And what the hell are you talking about "force barrier should proc in hit just like any other class" hunters can't even get an overshield no matter what they do so stfu whiny little bitch

All of hunters abilities are ranged with the exception to blade dancers. And even they have extra shields during their super and regen health on kill. Golden gun and bows are able to be shot from a distance, and throwing knife plus smoke melee are ranged as well. Titans had shields with a ranged super, and they got nerfed into the ground. Ranged supers don't need overshields.
Titans had shields with a ranged super, and they got nerfed into the ground.
I'm sorry have you seen bladedancer? It has been nerfed far worse than hammer of sol ever could to say that it's whole super is about melee attacks and there's a hit detection problem occurring one. The only problem with sunbreakers is the neutral game, the super is fine and still has a huge kill potential

The only problem with sunbreakers is the neutral game, the super is fine and still has a huge kill potential
With no shields. Sunbreakers can be killed by one sniper or shotgun, heck even a primary. We pretty much have the same shields as golden gun. Sunbreakers also have to have our attacks hit dead on as there is no such thing as blast radius anymore for our hammers, yet we still have a perk for it that doesn't work which is weird. Blade dancers have not officially been nerfed and their damage shields are still strong. They survive a shotgun to the face and a non ability melee after which means it's fine. Supers are not meant to be impossible to take down. Hit detection needs to be fixed on all melee attacks, even Titans miss their punches half the time anymore. The only class that has higher shields during super than blade dancers is the one an done fist of havoc that doesn't have a timer, and stormcaller. Blade dancers need a buff on hit detection, that's it.

What the hell are you talking about no shields!? Hammer if sol had the same shield as bladedancer if not more because of the natural armour that a Titan has. And you're comparing about shotguns? HA! You have a ranged super how are you dying from a shotgun? Oh wait arc blade as to be point blank on ALL confrontations. And you're saying supers are not meant to be impossible to take down, well that's why hammer of sol was nerfed because you essentially became immortal for 30 seconds and the hammer not killing is a hit detection problem

Emphasis on "had the same shields as blade dancer". Had. Also Arc is close ranged which is why it has shields but they don't need to be buffed shield wise. They are on par with every other super besides stormcaller and that's the way it needs to stay.

Sorry don't quote me on a typo, I meant to say have not had. Originally hammer of sol had 55% armour, now it has 50% armour just like arc blade and stormtrance. You can have 55% armour in radiance with radiant skin.

It has them. It's fine the way it is. All it needs is a buff to hit detection.
-
Please get evidence as to sunbreaker having "barely" any armour. It has been confirmed for a long time that it has 50% shields. And I'm not implying that hammer of sol is god tier like it used to be but it can still destroy if you can aim rather than just spamming the trigger and getting a seventh column like you used to be able to

It's fine the way it is just like blade dancers are.

Sure man whatever you say. Good debate
Sure man whatever you say. Good debate
Agreed. It was a good debate. But there will always be different debates on subclasses. But unfortunately we have no say on what does and does not get buffed/nerfed/fixed.

Yeah I guess, I guess it's just to give us a little glimpse of hope from bungie haha

Arc blade is the only super that gets an increase to armour. Golden gun? no. Shadowshot? Mid shooting a bow for a fraction of a second, i guess? But does that really count
Arc blade is the only super that gets an increase to armour. Golden gun? no. Shadowshot? Mid shooting a bow for a fraction of a second, i guess? But does that really count
I said that. Blade dancer is the only one that does, and that we have range on a one shot kill super that can be used 3 times in total so we don't really need extra shields.
-
Yes, in theory it should be a one shot 3 times but it is by far one of the easiest supers to counter if you are not in plain sight. You can hide around a corner and wait for the very short duration to end which has killed me many times. You can miss the bullets, which reduces it to a maximum of 2 kills if not 1 depending on the situation. It's not like golden gets any buff in the super besides a one shot gun, no increase armour, speed, recovery and the bullets have no splash damage so it's everything or nothing

You shouldn't miss any shots. If I ground pound nothing it doesn't mean my fist of havoc needs to be buffed. Also they do have splash damage. It's a perk you can equip. I have a hunter and use it all the time in crucible. You can get double kills with one bullet if you aim it right, both when they are side by side and when they are in front of each other.

I'm not saying I'm bad with golden gun, by no means! I have atleast 250 way if the gun medals because I am an experienced hunter but people call it OP cos it can one shot across the map. And no if you kill someone then they can explode, that's not initial splash damage
-

Yes on KILL. I'm saying if someone was sitting around a corner with a shotgun then I can't shoot the floor so I can be countered with ease. And yes if you're standing next to someone then you will be damaged or may die from the combustion just like 1 hammer

If you walk around a corner with golden gun in a tight space and get shotgunned, that's considered user error. It has range for a reason.
