So IB grind has just become irrelevant for this month, right? Why target light 315ish if it will be too low in 13 days?
I was waiting for Iron Banner - as a solo player without mad pvp skills, that was my only way to get items over light 310. But now, as 330ish items will be available after April 12th from many activities, this particular Iron Banner doesn't make sense grind-wise anymore, right? Anything I'll get there in 310-320 range will become weak in 13 days. With 1:1 infusion they won't be even useful as intermediate infusion steps. Am I missing something here?

I ran IB , but only for the gold bounties, which I will hold onto as well, giving me almost 500 legendary marks on April 12th (if you include max plus weekly heroic caps).

You should get highest possible light before going in to the new strike, PoE lvl 41 and 42. There will still be a grind to get 320+ gear after update.

Really wanted the wolfswood cloak. This is only my second iron banner since owning Destiny. Got a tonne of 310ish gear last month for relatively easy games. Rank 5 awaits today/tomorrow and my chances of the cloak are slim but that's Destiny!
