Last gen I had both, but exclusively played my xbox 360.
This time around I went ps4 as I heard its superior for pure gaming. I keep seeing all these great bundle deals for Xbox one lately, I kind of want it just for the sake of having it, but everyone is telling me don't waste my money.
The bundle I like has halo 5, and friends are telling me it's not even good. I pretty much exclusively play destiny, and would no way start that over on Xbox.
I was at a friends last night and I loved how it integrates into watching tv. We were watching March madness and he was casually switching to Xbox menu while we kept the game on. Maybe more of a party trick than actually useful, but it seemed pretty cool.

19 RespuestasI personally have grown to hate the ps4. My friend asked me why today and I'll just copy and paste what I sent him. 1) Majority of the exclusives are absolute shit. The last of us and blood borne are the exceptions. 2) The servers are absolute trash. Microsoft purchased 300,000 servers for Xbox one, and they installed a more advanced wifi adapter in the Xbox one allowing it to use 5ghz wifi which makes its speed over 3x faster than ps4 which can only use 2.4ghz wifi. I get 20mbps on ps4 while I get 70mbps on Xbox one. And that's just download speeds. Actual gameplay speed is horrendous on ps4. I have the fastest internet speed available in my city and I still red bar on ps4. Very, very rarely do I on Xbox one and when I do, it's my internet providers fault and not Microsoft's. 3) Hardware incompatibilities. The ps4 claims to let you use Bluetooth headsets, yet the two that I have are apparently incompatible even though they are compatible with everything else. Also, I have used two external hard drives on my Xbox one. Neither of them are compatible with ps4. 4) controllers. Honestly the controller on the ps4 just sucks in general, however I got used to it and dealt with it after awhile. The battery life is absolute asshole. It lasts maybe 4 hours while the Xbox last 20. Also, you could say you can just keep it plugged in and play, well that's be great if the cable was over 4 feet long but Sony decided to butt-blam!- us on that too. 5) retarded Sony decisions. They decided to not do EA access which is a great program. Microsoft did. HBO Go is awesome for streaming shows, but unfortunately if you're a ps4 owner and you have xfinity you can't use HBO go on your ps4. For absolutely no reason. What? 6) User Interface. Side scrolling is retarded. The Xbox one is so much more user friendly and thanks to the latest update, actually loads shit way faster than ps4. 7) shitty party system. On the ps4 if you invite someone to a party through their psn ID it automatically makes the party private. This cannot be changed unless you disband the party and start a new one. Also, if you are not the party leader, you cannot invite others to the party. What? Why? These are just a few reasons I can list off the top of my head but I really want to eat my food real quick so I have to stop typing.
