Here something that can help social anxiety, or any form of anxiety/depression. Keep a small notebook with you. When you feel an anxiety/panic attacks, or even a little anxious do this. Take the notebook out and draw a line down the middle of a piece of paper. On the left side, write down things you would bring to a party. On the right, write down emotions that you feel. Switch off back and forth, writing one on one side and then one on the other. It should, help you feel at least a little relaxed.

I have constant regular anxiety. Medicine doesn't help and I don't know why I have it. It's so bad it gives me headaches. At least you aren't me brother. [i]~TheGreatReebok[/i]

1 RespuestaYou really can't get rid of it. Either you get used to it, it goes away on its own, or you let it dominate you. I'd not recommend the last part. If you have a good friend who you feel you can confide in, do that and then try and get out of the house with the aid of that friend. What you really need to do is find out ways to help you over come that feeling of panic when it starts to rise up. There are simple things like phone games out there that can help you get over those moments. The more you get out, the easier it will be to come up with that list as well as you'll start to compile a list of reactions to certain situations so that you can at least know you have some kind of plan for each social interaction to fall back on. Sometimes all you need is the knowledge that you have a way out when you need it. That is why the friend is so helpful. If they are a good friend then they can be your escape plan while you are still figuring things out. They can be that body guard who keeps the social elements at bay while you deal with what you need to. They can be that person to fend off questions when you just want to be left alone or find that way out of a crowd when you feel trapped. They can think with reason and logic while your mind is stuck in an illogical terror loop.
