That sounds pretty amazing. :) I've never been member of a clan (besides the one I'm running myself to avoid being invited over and over again) in Destiny, as I always preferred playing solo due to my rather unusual and mostly short gaming times. As a full time working, married father of 4 kids, I usually play an hour in the evening and a couple of hours during a night on the weekend (if possible). But from your description I understand that even these weird gaming times aren't a real problem. My spoken English is far from great, which is why I'm more or less a quiet guy when it comes to voice chats. But at least I can listen well. ;) Do you guys have German members as well? Joining this clan a few months ago saved my xbox from certain death. After several failed attempts with other clans this was my last go! Well I'm one very happy gamer now. Took a few weeks to settle in but now it feels like I'm one of the boys! Love it to bits. Log your epic boozeraids are awesome! Spending hours online you need a bunch of good friends to be with and this clan has got that 💙💋

What log says is true, I'm part of this mob of inbreds and miscreants.The buggers won't let me leave and keep me locked in a cellar, bringing me out on a Tuesday and forcing me to a pink frock. If you want a clan that wants to know your KD, your light level and what weapons you have, this is not for you (use LFG). If you want a clan that helps out, can laugh at themselves and actually enjoy the game.... Come on in. It's broadened my education so much, I can even speak Australian and a little American now, I'm working on my Canadian and hope to learn more in future.

TA is a clan that is as advertised, a bunch of mature (in age only) gamers dedicated to helping out each other whether it be in game of by just hanging out having a laugh in chat. I have played online FPS for many years, when the name Quake meant something and we were all excited about the prospect of Open GL on our Voodoo Banshee graphics cards. It was a simpler time, a time of TCP/IP connections and the thrill of finding out if Sarah from Adelaide was really using her dads 356kb dial up connection or was just another David from North Carolina (Spoiler: it was always a David). I have seen games come and go and with them the rise and fall of digital empires. In 2013 the popular online game news website Gamespy closed its doors and with it took the Gamespy network, a place where gamers could find people to play with over a great many games including Aliens Versus Predator 2, arguably the greatest online FPS to have ever existed. As I waded through the ever changing landscape of online games I was introduced to a game called Halo, made by a young and brash development house known only as "Elastic Rope Studios" that would later go on to change their name to Bungie. Halo was a revaluation, a game where people could use their television screens and console to play across the globe with people from all walks of life and secret 16 year old female chat room alter egos. Chapter 2: While I whittled away my time playing the likes of Halo with friends and actual people I had met in the real world, I knew that I was longing for a place where I could write long and obnoxious forum posts and complain about the introduction of small currency based transactions within a game that would allow people to by horn sound for floating magic motorbikes and one day I found that very place. It was a cool spring afternoon, the birds were chirping and the sun was high in the sky, or so I assume as I had the curtains drawn and the sound turned up on this new game called Destiny (The title taken from the popular girls band with Byonces express permission of course). I was attempting to complete the games may PvE challenges with a friend who one day decided to stop playing and was instantly dead to me. All alone in this expansive, narrative devoid game, I was on the verge of leaving when, like a great beacon from the sky, I stumbled upon a forum post on Elastic Ropes webpage URL. It was a call out to all the lonely foul mouthed, booze drinking guardians out there who wanted a place to belong, who wanted a place to be able to play their games with other of a like mind, a place where guardians could run free and frolic in the sun together. It sounded shit. Then I found one for TA so I joined. I cant tell you what happens next as this brings you up to this very point in time. Maybe TA will go on to win the Super Bowl against the odds, Maybe the Echindas will get an MLG sponsorship, Maybe I will find that Dave from North Carolina and marry him. I cant be sure what the future holds, but I can be sure that We will all find our place in the sun , as the sun is likely to explode and kill us all....that's just science.

Been part of the Terror Australis crew for a while now. I float in and out due to my shitty work roster of 3 weeks away and one week at home. Great bunch of blokes who couldn't give a flying fück about your KD, ELO or any other elitist garbage. As a proud member of the Terror Australis clan, I strongly encourage anyone who is looking for a clan where you can have fun, meet some awesome people, and where there are no requirements on light level, kd, or how brilliant you are at raids or the crucible to join one of the Terror Alliance clans. Even if you're already in a clan (or if you're like me and possibly verging on being in too many clans) join up anyway! I've met heaps of fantastic, friendly and helpful people through the TA clan. I've had some great times and lots of laughs playing with fellow members, whether it be doing crucible and Iron Banner (where no one ever said I couldn't join even though I admitted to being a pretty average pvp player) or the raids. The first time I got through the King's Fall raid and beat Oryx on normal and, more recently, on hard, was with the help of some awesome clan members. I also had some great guys who kindly sherpaed me through the VoG and Crota's End raids for the first time, even though it was a few months after TTK launched. And let's be honest, who usually plays those raids anymore? Unless it's for a boozeraid of course ;) A big thank you to Log for helping to make the TA clan such an awesome and welcoming place! :)

As i ranted over in the TB post a few weeks back.....let the comments above not dissuade you from joining. We are crazy...we are loud...we are all about having a good time. And we are (im biased of course) the best damn bunch of guys and gals out there. If you need to think of an excuse to join, or think you need to write an essay about your prowess with a kvostov....dont bother...just dive right in and join up. There will always be a bunch of us there ready to join in the festivities I'm living proof that this community is a place for everyday normal people. Having joined on a whim after seeing one of Log's posts....the welcoming and inevitable acceptance into the legacy that is Terror Australis, is exactly what keeps me coming back day after day. I couldnt have possibly found a more perfect fit, and a better family to spend time with. Part of the Terror Alliance....we have, what...8 clans now?? So there is PLENTY of space, ps4 and xbox one alike (but we all know xbox one is better ;p ) so come along....the drinks are flowing and the company is free...and the memories are forever :) - wulf out.

A great clan, good bunch of guys. Only joined recently and it brings another dimension to the game to be able to join up at anytime rather than grind on your own ;-) if you know what I mean. Thanks for IB last night I'm still no better at it but it's an education especially to know that secondhand underwear has a good resale value.

I'm part of the TB clan. Year 2 player, so only joined Destiny from the The Taken King. In all fairness, if it wasn't for the terror family I would not be playing Destiny. I have had help from everything from Taken Champions quests to strikes to Nightfalls to Raids and to top it off I don't just play with just* the TB lot. So now I have friends from America and Europe as well. Though not had a chance to play with the Austrialian group (probably to hungover from the boozeraids....I mean the time difference) as of yet, but if they are anything like our lot here in the UK, America and Europe then you'll have a blast and find a reason to keep playing Destiny even in the content draught. Hell, we still do Iron Banana and ToO just for bounties and to have a bubble bath (cockney slang for laugh. Should have just typed laugh but, meh, sorry, not sorry). Need to do an old raid for the first time? Yep, Terror family even do old skool raids to. It's not about your light level but your attitude. KD? What's that? Bragging rights for the try-hards. Light level? Naaaa. If you are close enough we'll carry and teach you the mechanics. You'll be more than enough by the end 9 times out of 10. We all have to start somewhere, no matter the game or situation. So here's my advertisement (well best reason) to join the Terror Family no matter where you are from........... Best memory to date is entering PvP with only year 1 or green weapons for shits and giggles. Seeing the legendary Ghally in action and actually wanting to collect year 1 weapons after that night so I could have them just incase we ever do it again (now TB have a twitch stream, you can expect to see some random streams of how the TB lot are and it's utter madness in a straight jacket hugging way, LMAO). The reaction from other teams was priceless. Them dancing until the Ghally was fired and them trying to scatter, while we pissed ourselves laughing. So remeber this!!!
