Jump into a quick Iron Banner match before I have to leave and as soon as the other team jumps ahead half our team jets. And we don't get 3 more till the end of the match. We need some type of penalty for jumping out of games. Perhaps a 10 min wait until you can play your next match, that wouldn't hurt people how have to leave due to real life but really bother those that leave just because they're losing.
-
I know it sucks there is no penalty for quitters but I hope they implement something soon.

1 RespuestaMy time is more important than bungie' stupid crucible design. 6v1 games go on for 15mins as the full team can't get enough points to force a mercy. Zzzzzzzzzz...... Every time the solo player quits, it drags another poor sucker in. Teams that loose a player should get a 16.6% score buff per missing spot until it's filled. Games that go below 6:3 should freeze until the matchmaker finds some more players, and drop them all in at once. Players that join a game in progress need a reward for sticking it out. Extra iron medallions or guaranteed winners rep would be a start. Or they could link the bounties to the game mode, that way people would capture points instead of going incompetent Rambo. Bungie really needs to Google 'perverse incentives'. In rough games with bad teammates my reward for getting a +ve k/d is to spend another game paired with blind chimps and increase my medallion stack to 7 or 8 (lol, not possible). I normally break my loosing streak by intentionally going 0 for 20 and the next game I'll be matched verses the guardian equivalent of fish in a barrel. Rant over. I want to like this game, really.

I agree. Time to make the sheep pay for their badness. Yes I'm bad, but I don't quit. For example, playing mw2 on rust, domination, vs a clan, my team of randoms were getting stomped on, they all quit but me, I saw that the other team were fighting over airspace with harrier strikes and ac 130's instead of quitting, I took the opportunity to rank up my cold blooded perk, the clan invited me to their party, and they allowed me to destroy their aircraft without them killing me. Sometime taking a L so bad can pay off. Lmao

The real solution is to probably remove the limit cap on medallions. Once a team falls below three players the match should end as well with what ever the current score is. Getting dropped into match that is 2 v 6 and the other team has all three caps and heavy ammo is a horrible experience.
-
Halo did that, after my first "temp-ban" from ragequitting I never did it again xD
-
I got matched with full fireteams 5 times earlier today. Its frustrating as a solo player. I didnt quit any of the matches, but I can see why someone would.
-
If you quit enough games it should bring down your rank by a couple hundred points

Editado por Wintermute 2050: 3/31/2016 11:24:45 PMI learned my lesson the hard way when last summer I stayed in losing matches assuming the next one will be a win. Three hours later I finally had a winning match. Today so far I have spent 1.5 hours just leaving losing matches. How much time would I have wasted if I stayed in losing matches. 3 hours? 4 hours? 5 hours? One of these matches even began with my team having only 3 players. That's ridiculous. I am not going to waste time on losing matches. We do NOT need a penalty for leaving losing matches. Bungie needs to change the matching so a player finally gets a win after no more than 5 losses.

It's very rare that I leave a match. Most days, I'll suck it up and finish it out cause I can take an ass kicking as well as I take a victory. It blows having to solo IB and get stuck with randoms against a team of 4 or more, I've been against 4-6 man fireteams all day. However, if my team is full of people who won't press a point to capture, let themselves get cowed into the same little corner to be farmed, or they're just not going for the objectives (pro tip: it's control this week, so do everyone a favor and capture points, cause your kills aren't worth much without them), then I stop wasting my time. I understand the allure of an impressive KDR. Heck, I love seeing mine positive. But if people don't play to win, they're wasting everyone's time. TL;DR I admire people who wade through the suck and keep fighting. Those who don't play to win suck. KDR means nothing with no point in Control, so help capture or go play Clash. Sometimes, the team just isn't worth the effort. Bungie needs to work on their matchmaking, cause a bunch of randoms don't often stand a chance against an organized team with communication.

Yeah it does happen a lot. I just try and ignore it and keep playing, a quick loss is a quick medallion. No shame in that IMO.

Editado por Muka Gatals: 3/30/2016 4:17:19 PMThe problem is smaller number of player pool. Not many PVE players join IB any more. I watched my clan friend list last night..only 1 group of 6 that playing IB for few games then after that 3 of them playing division, 2 netflix, 1 battlefront. Punishing deserters will make it worse make the game harder to find players. The only way to fix it bungie need to remove bounties that require Win to complete. Replace it with number of kills. So even we lose or joining a loser team..we still have incentive to play. Basically Bungie have to make the game still count even we lose. The lose medal should not be limited to 5. I never quit any game because I don't care of my K/D..lol Since they are going to increase light level I don't play IB and KF raid anymore. I might play IB this weekend if it raining outside...otherwise road trip with my motorcycle..!

There should be at least some rep for losing right now you only get rep for winning in iron banner and that is why people leave.

8 RespuestasEditado por Vaerdalen: 3/30/2016 12:10:57 PMPeople leave because versing a fireteam of 6 that camps every spawn f*cking sucks. Update. "Stupid f*cking bungie logic" Let's put 6 random solo players against a fireteam of 6 that have communication. Because solo players just leave being f*cking pubstomped. And whenever the solo player leaves the match to find a new one, let's put them back into the losing f*cking match. Update 2. New match, 6/12 all randoms. Bungie gives us a fireteam of 6. Considering I'm only doing bounties and need kills while my team has the lead this so far has taken 5 games. Up to game 6 trying to finish this stupid f*cking bounty. Match 6 is a match in progress versing a fireteam of 6. Not getting it done this game, already losing before I join. Game 7, versing a fireteam of f*cking 6. Really seeing a trend here.

9 RespuestasAfter 5 iron medallions accumulated what's the point of staying if your team is losing?
-
3 RespuestasI hate quitting also but when we're up against a full organized fireteam and they camp both heavies. People start jumping ship. Like am I supposed to stick it out with a 2 or 3 man team of solos against a full fireteam?

Team probably thought I quit.

Yeah...I try not to quit, but it can be obvious early on that we are going to lose. Doesn't matter now...got to rank 5 so winning really doesn't mean much now. When I am the only one going to zone B at the start of the game and I get slaughtered by four enemies there, you can bet my team is going to lose. Control the zones!
-
Ya that's the worst.... With supers and heavy rounds (as much as I dislike heavy), games that are separated by 2-3 thousand and even more can easily get evened out. Not to mention, even if you lose you get a medallion. Which is at least some rep.

1 RespuestaEditado por Loyalaumort: 3/31/2016 5:59:41 AMI just left a game. The map was Pantheon (spelling?) and all - I mean ALL of my team mates were hardscoping the middle of the map. All five grouped in one spot. Holy fck. I captured two zones, noticed we were down by 2K and left. Correction - just left my second match because what do you know, different teams, same map and same tactics.
-
2 RespuestasMatchmaker sucks .... I play solo and when I see fire team of 6 and solo dudes on my side I'm out. If I see small fire teams on either I stay. If there is three red bar on other side I'm out. If we're losing by 4K points I'm out.
-
If I constantly have a bead on an enemy head and have to shoot my pulse rifle or scout rifle 6-7 times and still not take him/her out, I'm not sticking around. Don't blame the player, blame the game
-
2 RespuestasI just don't understand quitters. If my team is down then you try harder or if it's a seemingly insurmountable gap then go for your own small milestones. Honestly, quitting never crosses my mind. Are these quitters, who are digitally spitting their dummy out of the pram because they aren't getting it their own way, the same people who cry for nerfs because someone had the audacity to kill them in a competitive match??
-
Perhaps fix the matchmaking system first so that nearly every lobby doesn't have a few lagging bullet sponges to fight against, maybe then people won't leave so often.
-
4 RespuestasJust have a ticket you have to buy for say 10 legendary marks. It stays active all the time your in games until you finish your last game and its returned to you. but if you leave early you don't get it back.

Lol i rather not brake my controller

1 RespuestaEditado por Angelus-B-: 3/30/2016 1:57:46 PMMatchmaking is a complete joke, we had a match yesterday, 3 people left straight away, eventually it was 6 v 1 and we were 10k+ ahead still no-one was entered into match and eventually the guy quit
