Those types of people can't be treated with any medicine or therapist. The only 100% effective cure is a bullet to the head.

Yes but only at the time of the incident where that punishment can quickly and easily be connected to the crime committed. Killing a rapist in the act, yes. Killing a rapist 5 years after, no.

Vigilantes can pose huge threats to people around them as they chase alleged criminals and there's always the chance the vigilante could kill somebody who was set up. While our system isn't perfect and messes up, I'd prefer to leave the law in the hands of trained professionals.

Here in Australia there was a case last week where someone broke into a mans house, and the home owner unintentionally killed the intruder, and is now being charged with murder.
