You wouldn't be too far off. Most of the time, it goes from a decent political discussion to a shit flinging fest, so I've begun reporting them and muting them as a result of that. It seems that I have a target on my back most of the time when Republicans respond in the political threads as a result of that. Which, I notice some of them do circumvent their bans and mutes just to get that "upper hand" or something.

Come now, you've badly mischaracterized Republican thought and reduced it to the lowest level of political propaganda. You don't expect flak? I could list Democratic ideas in a biased light, I'd expect flak. We get these stupid arguments because our dialogue always assumes our side is right and the other side is terribly wrong. Usually, we're both wrong.

There is the disclaimer I put up that the following do NOT represent what all Republicans think, but what people on this forum who identify as Republican have said. I put that up as the very first thing and I put it in bold so that people would actually read that before responding to the post. Unfortunately, it seems that even if I put the disclaimer in bold, people read past that just to fling shit. That was literally the tl;dr of the whole post, and people still tl;dr'd the tl;dr just to try and smoke me out. I've begun ignoring the posts that have begun attacking my personal self rather than actually talking about the points. If someone can't be bothered to read 3 sentences before they respond back, then I shouldn't be bothered to acknowledge their response.

But by all means, continue playing the victim. We both know the truth to why you refuse to respond, and it's because you can't back up your claim.

The disclaimer was the very first thing I put for cases such as yours, where you decided to try and misrepresent the entire post, get extremely anal and salty about it, then proceed to try and discredit while also shitflinging, which throughout the responses in my thread, heavily confirming my Edit part.
