Im going to school to be a lawyer, but in reality it is less and less the old folks and more the younger ones who need a safe place because words on the internet hurt them. that because its not their fault its their upbringing that made them do it. :/ no accountability or responsibility.

I'm no law student, but with my average knowledge of the law; I'm interpreting that this guy got off the hook because his safe place is video games? Please correct me if I'm wrong

He didn't necessarily get off. He is still going to prison. But the alcohol and drugs are what are known as mitigating factors. they lessen the punishment in some instances. Here it is more likely than not they played a role in the sentencing of this individual.

I think for the crime he committed his sentence is basically off the hook

I actually know a few of my professors that are either gamers, metal heads, or have tats, or a combination. Provided these are the younger professors, well what's considered young for a professional doctor. It's changing, slowly but surely

The company I work for, makes us shave our faces, except a stache, cover our tattoo's, no piercings, & no hair past our shoulders. They pay me enough money that I gladly cover my ink & keep myself free of hair, lol.

Well yeah, during work you gotta cover those things and keep it clean, but they still do have tats and I think that's awesome haha

The thing that bugs me about it, is that most of our customers are now having all of those things & allowing those things for their employees. It just baffles me that we have not moved forward with the times. Lol.

honestly there are no words. someone said it recently how todays society is much like that in the movie idocracy.

This is honestly what happens when political correctness becomes the norm. Then couple that with the fact that both parents basically have to work now to make ends meet, the schools are actually teaching the kids less & less, companies are rewarding stores & employees for be mediocre. Yeah, this is what we reap.
