I think the entire nerf/buff system needs a reset.
Put EVERYTHING back in its vanilla state. The good AND the bad!
What made Destiny so fun in the first place was how volatile everything was.
BUNGIE!!! You've been wasting your time by trying to cater to all the crybabies of these god-forsaken forums and mainly focusing on tweaking weapons instead of improving your game, fixing glitches and creating better content for the next set.

Edit: And so it seems like the majority would be fine with it except for vex and Suros. I like the idea plenty of others have put out for just buffing everything to it's prime state.
I also like the idea of a PvP mode like that. Maybe as an end of the week thing on Sunday or Monday before reset?

1 RespuestaYes, except pulse rifles, they needed buffed a bit then, not as much as they were, but they needed it. Vex also needed slight tweaks, not as much as what it's gotten, but some.

4 RespuestasI agree 100% what started it all was Bungie was butthurt that NOBODY was using their pulse rifles. they ganked the auto rifles,made pulse better and made us all deal w thorn. gun balance was perfect at vanilla. everyone was using Suros,so maybe they shouldve tweaked just it instead of dumping on the weapon class that EVERY FPS features....

4 RespuestasAll that would be great but you would see two weapons. SUROS AND VEX. But then again.......I remember day 1 shotguns hitting at extreme ranges and have 200+rounds. And by extreme I do not mean felwinter, with shot package range try double that if not more. Day 1 shotguns where beastly. Hey I found a ghorn, don't need it got a shoty Hey found a small tactical nuke....Don't need it got a shoty. Day one shotgun where the original OP weapon. Required bringing the servers down on day 2 for a emergency hotfix. That's how bad they were.

Vex was a tad OP and Thorn was bit underwhelming. I had zero issues with anything else on Day 1. Suros and Pocket Infinity were fine.

You know what? **** it, let's bring back vanilla for a while, I wanna use my sunsinger and see if I can wreck a sunbreaker and bladedancer while they were in their prime. I want to see my queensbreaker vs the vex mythoclast. I want to see a fusion rifle in crucible again. I want to see it.

5 RespuestasWhat YOU don't realize is that bungie intentionally rebalances everything to mix it up. They've literally said this. There have been times when things were great and they changed it to allow other weapons/weapon archetypes to be the top guns. They do it so that it doesn't get stale, but they fail to realize it pisses off so many ppl and that there were actual times when you could counter ALL weapons with other weapons, but when they started constantly using the freakin iron banner as a standard to justify their weapon balances/tweaks, it showed they really didn't care about the community's input or feedback. The only reason the banner data gets used is because "light levels matter". What a load of bs. The thorn reigned salt and rage for almost a half year before they did anything to adjust it. That's one of the many guns types they didn't care about that ppl didn't want. They go thru cycles of having certain weapons being the "top dogs", then they change it up. It's not because of what we want, it's because a certain amount of time has gone by and it's now time (in their eyes) to have a new top weapon anger everyone.

I think we need a roll back to House of Wolves minus the exotic hand cannon sniping. That was the peak of the weapon balance.
