Hi there. I've played Destiny since around crotas end pretty religiously. I've completed every activity the game has to offer both year one as well as two. I'm banked in around 3k hours in the game and have hit the top 1% in iron banner according to DestinyTracker. Now that I've established some credentials, here's the meat and potatoes. TLDR: Pay attention when you kill a warlock and realize that firebolt burn takes time to kill. I have been maining a sunsinger since I started the game. I really don't see the sudden obsession with them all of a sudden. Nothing has been changed about them with the exception of the nerf to the melee range and the bolt grenade nerf affected them. So why the sudden hate? Personally I use double sticky grenades more than firebolts and touch of flame both inside and out of trials. I do run Viking funeral regardless though due to the extra burn on the scorch melee. Now the most popular complaint I see is the combination of fireborn and the burn firebolts. People say you only have to damage your enemy slightly to cause them to die to the burn and since you can spam the grenades while in radiance, this is unfair. What I never see anyone acknowledge is the fact that radiance is indeed a super. Please explain to me which super you have a chance of living through once a competent player has decided to use it on you? Once more, the burn grenade plus shot takes time to happen. Every single other super is an instant kill when used with the exception of the defender. Think about that. Any substance you might think you have against radiance must take that into consideration. Now fireborn, outside of trials or other revive based gametypes is more or less useless. Sure it can allow you a revenge kill and maybe plus one or two more, but that isn't going to make or break your game of clash. Perhaps rather than complaining about that guy who self resurrected, you should first try to pay attention to the fact that you killed a warlock and take into consideration the possibility that he had his super. But, Turreted, how would I know he's a sunsinger? Check before the game. There's many things a lot of you complainers are probably failing to do. Which is realize and respect the players in your match. Perhaps maybe the reason you're not winning as much as you THINK you should be isn't because of the game, but maybe your ignorance to certain edges that you are depriving yourself of.
