PSA: don't use motes to lvl factions
That right I fcking said it. Deadpool here to explain to your infinitely dense cerebral cortex this little thin called math.
I know what your thinking. "But deadpool what's math?" To be honest I didn't pay attention in that class... or any of them... except sex ed.
But here the numbers kids. 5 motes of buttmunch give 100 exp. And 1 heavy gives 25. Now this may seem strange but yoy can buy heavy synth from the neighborhood Japanese porn star, Xur McNoodleface.
Step one. Have motes of light.
Step two. Trade 2 motes of butt fart to Mr. Octopus face for subway tokens
Step tres. Trade said tokens for rocket/machine gun ammo synths.
Step 4. Do not not use said heavy ammo to kill everything insight (this step takes years of Training don't worry.)
Step 5. Turn coins into factions.
Now in no time you will have butt towels, friendship braclets, and magneto cloaks to hide your shame of grinding for colorful armor and a loading screen.

Xur doesn't sell Strange Coins. In fact, no one does. Your logic has failed. Though, I'll enjoy my 320 Dead Orbit cloak because I actually got my faction rank to 25.

1 RespuestaHeavy synth is exponentially more efficient. Pretty sure it takes 75 to go up a whole faction level. So 25 Strange Coins = 1 Faction Level whereas with motes it's 5 Motes for 100 Rep so you'd need 125 motes to go up a whole level. I'd use 75 synth over 125 motes anyday.
