point is, people think others are shit because they use certain weapons, mostly weapons they consider to be OP. But if I'm able to beat people in ToO with Hard Light, and people consider Hard Light to be udder shit, that pretty much means I'm not relying on my weapon to be the source of my skill.
p.s. I have not heard very many people claim that Hawkmoon is bad, from what I've heard Hawkmoon is still one of the better than normal hand cannons, so of course you'd still do good in ToO.

Why would you want to cripple yourself. That's like saying that you broke both of your legs in order to have a challenge and show you don't rely on your legs.

Why do I always have to use the best? What is so wrong with using a gun that you like, and if you can win with it I don't see how that is crippling in any way. People are far too judgmental about the weapons that people use. "Oh, you're not using TLW or MIDA, wow then you must be shit." Some people do better with other weapons and it doesn't cripple them. If you think Hawkmoon is bad yet you can still win with it, it is not crippling. If people think Hard Light is bad yet I can still win with it, it is not crippling. I do not let the weapon define my performance, I let my own skill control the gun. The weapon doesn't make the man.

I never said hawkmoon was bad but it's not a tier 1 weapon
And what would it mean if you did good with such a "shit" weapon? Was it the weapon that carried you or your own skill?

I use hawkmoon now and still do good in trials
I was referring to a "shit" weapon and then you bring Hawkmoon into comparison, sure sounds like you were saying it was bad.
