I got really far without a headset
-I've been flawless (have scarab)
-I've completed King's Fall over 20 times
-I get to rank 5 Iron Banner every time it's out
-I complete the nightfall every week
-I made it to 320 about a month ago
For the love of God, give people that don't have a headset a chance. Like me, they may be a very well listener. If I'm looking for a raid group and I ask for an invite and I tell them I don't have a headset.. 90% of the time they'll ignore me. But their loss, I'm a great player.
Edit: Guys, I can easily afford a headset, I just prefer not to talk.
Edit: Headsets are an added bonus in most cases, although you don't need one to get the job done.

It's not whether you are a great player, a good listener or even a prodigy gamer. For me it's the fact that I like to have conversations and not just talk to myself, it's more fun this way

2 RespuestasWhat system? I've never really given trials a go, and my raid groups been flakey. For Crucible and most pve stuff, I'm totally down with no mics. If you're ps4, I'm usually around.

1 RespuestaGreat players aren't common, that's what makes them great. Not having a mic makes it hard for teamwork to happen. I've run with players that don't have mics, and it can be frustrating, especially if they don't listen or if you need to carry them

This is merely an observation and is not intended as an insult. Based on your GT, I'm guessing you stutter and elect to not use a headset / mic...if this is the case, get a headset / mic and form your own fireteams. If someone is being a (insert your own expletive), kick them.

2 RespuestasHonestly the only two things on there that are impressive without a HS is Flawless & Kings Fall (more impressive for the first time, the rest not really unless you are always with randoms.)

3 RespuestasProblem is you're in the minority on that one. You can get a halfway decent headset for $40. I got a decent Turtle Beach headset from Gamestop for that. They're really not that expensive. They even have some for $20.
