Spartans. They can survive falls from orbit, they can rank rockets. MC once slapped a -blam!-ing missile out of the way. They've been trained since 8. MC can punch a brute so hard he broke his spine. Linda, the sniper member of blue team, was once able to shoot and elite out of a banshee through a slit in the chassis where the sloping part meets the lower body while hanging upside down. Kelly is able to run around 50 kph. They have reaction times that are super human. MC once fired his m6 pistol so fast that a marine claimed that the 3 shots he fired at 3 jackals sounded like one. One spartan(who's name u can't remember) dropped into combat, gunned down hundreds of grunts until they were out of ammo, then picked up a mongoose( a four wheeler ) and used that to beat the shit out of even more of them. Spartan 3s were able to dodge automatic fire. Master Chief is average compared to most Spartans in strength, speed and intelligence. He has the most luck and finds weapons on the ground that he needs faster than what you find change on the side walk. There are multiple more examples.
But of course that dosen't mean that guardians are -blam!-ing stupid or weak. Let's point out that they've killed gods. That isn't something we can leave out. They've stoped time-traveling cyborg robots. Slated two god kings of a group of space-zombie aliens that defeated those cyborgs before and are possibly billions of years old and immortal. I recall that a Titan tanked a rocket once too but Idk if that's accurate though. Saint-14 grapes with the house of devils Kell. That's pretty powerful if you think about it. Hunters are incredible shots. Warlocks are not on the short end of the stick either as they launch -blam!-ing mini exploding stars and can come back from the dead. How about the fact that ghosts can bring back the guardians.
If you don't agree with me then go ahead. You do you. But I think I know how it would really happen.
Blue team is patrolling a distant planet. The Covenant are strong there. It's a desert planet(Tatooine? Oh shit wrong universe). After hours or even days of fighting, they become surrounded by Zealots. They pull out energy swords. They make their way in for the kill and blue team continues firing even though there are to many. They suddenly hear gunshots that are unlike any they've heard. They see 3 strangers in strange armor. There's a warlock with a Fate of All Fools, the Pocket Infinity(prenerfed duh), and a Thunderlord and this warlock wears the ram and is a void walker. There's a Titan, he's got the SUROS Regime, the Chaperone, and Dragons Breath(with tracking to make things interesting). He's wearing the Helm of Inmost Light and he's a mighty Striker.( Or maybe a prenerfed sunbreaker. Then the Spartans should worry). And last but not least there's a Hunter with his trusty, fancy, fan-fired and all around most badass looking The Last Word, he's got the Patience And Time, and the weapon that's most needed, the Gjallarhorn. They stare each other down and both feel a tiny seed of fear in their gut. But the stare-down is interrupted by a large explosion. It looks like the Covenant, Cabal, and Fallen have teamed up. There are thousands. Oh look, it's those bitches called Atheon, Crota, Skolas, and Oryx have all come back. Facing almost certain death, the two groups, the Spartans and the Guardians, jump into the fray and fight together. The outcome is up to you.
wow that was a shitty fan fiction I probably just wrote.
We don't really have much to go off on for the guardians other than every major foe they have defeated, Atheon crota and Oryx. We don't know much of specific stats guardians have. For all we know titans may be exactly like Spartans but with magic.

Editado por Edcub One: 2/15/2016 6:28:23 PMI found the quote for Spartans being able to flip tanks in canon. Thank you for your patience.
-
That's not canonical evidence, merely a game mechanic. If it isn't an official statement, and not featured in any of the lore, then he could simply be misinformed. For example, do you think that Spartans could flip over the 253-Ton Elephant canonically, just because they can do so in game?
-
Editado por Edcub One: 2/16/2016 10:32:57 PMThe guy asked if Spartans were in canon strong enough to lift drop pods, Franke said that they were because they could flip/lift tanks, he clearly meant it in relation to lore not gameplay. While this is high end, it is canon.
-
Bungie also said that Master Chief's face would never be revealed, and voila, 343 revealed it. What one person said in an interview isn't canon, nor is it continuity. It's an unofficial statement.
-
Bungie said that when they owned Halo, then 343 got it and said we don't want to do that. This is in no way comparable.
-
and then they all kissed! yeah! good points though, glad to see someone recognize both sides' strengths and feats.
-
Is your halo information from the books? If so, which ones?
-
First strike is the sniping out a banshee Fall of reach which is the prequel to halo ce is the slapping the missile(that book basically details the Spartan 2s first day of training up to reach, including chef meeting cortana and first getting the armor Ghost of onyx is the Spartan 3 stuff Halo the flood which is basically the book version of the first game is interesting I really suggest the books or if u don't wanna go spend money then halopedia.org everything halo related is on there.
-
I've read fall of reach, but haven't acquired the other books yet. I'll make sure to check them out though.
-
Well we shouldn't have come back after our first death in the vault.
-
They only killed people like oryx with the light of the traveler.
-
True but they still killed gods. In the lore you can only kill them in their throne world. But like you said. We only killed oryx due to guardians equating light as much as francium radiates radiation.
-
Editado por Edcub One: 2/17/2016 5:33:07 AMWhat do you mean by that?
-
It means that guardians radiate light out the ass. The analogy comes from the fact that francium is radioactive as hell.
-
I've had a horrible day.
-
Sorry to hear that.

I don't remember what we were arguing about.
-
not true. they needed weapons and armor gathered and enhanced from through-out the system. they needed skill and their witts and their fire-forged (sometimes literally) comrades at their sides. they didnt just go up to Oryx and give him some motes to win.
-
Their weapons use the guardians light to counter Oryx's darkness. Which is why we could kill him with weapons that should not work on him.

Editado por Edcub One: 2/16/2016 5:56:39 AM....it's the reason you need higher light to beat tougher enemy's (I will find a quote from the lore).

That entire story was in some way a point that I don't think two groups who fight to save humanity would fight each other. But I guess that's a boring solution to a vs forum in guess. Lol
